Sunday School for all ages
The Spiritual Leadership Team and Ministries have been discerning together over several weeks an optimal schedule during our construction and temporary move into the Rog-er Williams Room for worship. We considered the follow-ing factors in our decision:
•
The difficulty holding the smaller 8:30 service in the overwhelming space of the Roger Williams Room.
•
The inequity of “combining” both services by simply cancelling the first service and expecting only 8:30 wor-shippers to change.
•
The opportunity to consider flexible and creative Sun-day school options, youth group time, and a “fellowship hour” between worship and Sunday school.
We Need Your Help Next Week!
In preparation for our construction work, we need all hands on deck to have our building ready to go for worship and Sun-day school. Our list of tasks includes the following:
⇒
Prepare our sanctuary chairs for use on RWR floor (they need caps on the bottoms of the legs to avoid scratching the new floor)
⇒
Move sanctuary chairs to the Roger Williams Room for worship
⇒
Set up RWR for worship, including sound system, pulpits, etc.
⇒
Begin to move furniture out of storage rooms, li-brary, etc. in order for floor to be laid. We are still working with flooring workers to determine which need to be cleared first.
So bring your hammers and your moving dollies and your strong backs and join us:
Monday, April 6 at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 7 at 7:00 p.m.
