Summer employment in Project Inspections, Coordination, Problem solving, client
liaison at sites. Projects handled: Pangnirtung Fuel Storage construction, Cape
Dorset Pipelines and Fuel Storage, Kugluktuk water supply Pipeline, Grise Fiord
Water Storage Tanks, Repulse Bay Fuel Storage and Pipeline, Sachs Harbor Pipeline,
Saniquilaq Fuel Storage and Pipeline, as builds, O & M Manuals, and many other
Northern communities in Arctic Circle for Government of Nunavut and NT.
Project valuation 30 to 100 Million. Project Manpower of the Contractor 15 to 50.

1989-1995 Self employed consultant in different parts of the world.


(a) Feasibility reports of Pipelines/ Solid/Gas/Liquids.
(b) Product diversification planning and implementation of Industrial houses.
(c) Regulatory compliance, Environment, Safety, Capital Goods Imports, etc.

1987-1988 Abbottsfield Engineering Services working on the Boiler upgrading and


instrumentation, instrument logging, vendor coordination, site visits, etc.
Studies on slurry Pipelines and tailing ponds, etc. Project value: 5-10 M. Project
Manpower of the contractor10.

1985-1986 Foster Wheeler Petroleum Development (Canada) Ltd., Calgary. Dy. Project
Manager, working on the Feasibility Project report for offshore hydrocarbon
development at Hibernia of Petro Canada. Project Cost when implemented few hundred
million dollars. Coordination with vendors, clients, Engineers.

1983-1984 Rankine and Hills, Sydney, Australia, Consulting Engineer as a Cost


Engineer working on the development of Process and Project on Shale Oil project
development for Esso Australia. Studied “Sasol” (South Africa) coal liquefaction
plants, process of Lurgi (Germany), etc. Project cost when implemented few hundred
million dollar. Coordination and Project Cost Development.

1979-1982 Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd., Planning & Scheduling and Cost Control
(Scope changes approval procedures) on CANDU nuclear generating stations design
and Construction. Worked on Gentilly II in Quebec, Wolsung I in Korea and Kordoba
in Argentina, Project costs totaling about 3 Billion Dollars. In house
coordination, liaison, chasing many.
1977-1978 Monenco Bannister Pipelines, Montreal, feasibility of a Coal Pipeline
from B.C. to Thunder Bay for Trans Canada Pipelines. Gas Arctic Project
Feasibility.

1972-1976 Canadian National, (Pipelines R&D), Montreal.


Development of Pipelines for Solid Transportation, feasibility reports, mine
visits, pulp and paper mill visits for optimized transportation proposals.
Preliminary designs, Cost Estimating, coordination with Consulting Engineers,
clients, coordination with Gas Arctic Project proposals, studies of alternative
economic ways of transportation of gas, Justice Burger Commission reports
analysis, Northern Realities, etc. Studied and coordinated with Black Mesa
Pipelines, (Coal), put up proposals for transportation by Pipelines of Kudramukh
Iron Ore Project, India (implemented by Bechtel)

1968-1972 The Hydro Electric Power Commission of Ontario, Planning & Scheduling,
and, Coordination of Power Generation stations construction of Aubrey Falls G.S.,
Wells G.S. (both hydel), Nanticoke G.S. (Conventional Coal fired) and Pickering
G.S. (CANDU based nuclear generation). Used in house Planning and Scheduling
programs on mainframe.

1963- 1967 The Burma Oil Co.(Pipelines) Ltd., The first crude oil pipeline in
India from Nahorkatia to Barauni 720 km. Reconnaissance, Surveying, Preliminary
design, Construction Inspection and Commissioning. Contractors Mannesmann of
Germany and SAIPEM of Italy., IOC (Pipelines) Nationalized liquid hydrocarbon
organization's Product Pipelines, Siliguri - Gauhati, Kanpur Haldia, totaling
about 1500 km.
1960-1962 S.. Lal & Co. Mine owners:
Mining (Underground & Opencast), Metalliferrous, Coal. Mine operations,
explorations, Surveying, etc.
2. Publications:
In different Professional journals, all over the world more than 10 were
published. Many awards and laurels.

3.c. Commissioner of Oaths for the Province of Quebec, Canada with
Jurisdiction of all the Countries of the world.
