TheLamarBanksScholarshipFundwillbehostinganAnnualGolfTournamentFundraisertobeheld
onAugust22,2015,atValleyGreenGolfCourse.

TheLamarBanksScholarshipFundwascreatedtohonorhimandtoprovidetuitionassistancefor
currentBishopMcDevittstudentsaswellasthosecontinuingontohighereducation.Lamarwasan
AssistantFootballCoachforhisalmamater,BishopMcDevittHighSchoolformorethanadecade.He
dedicatedhislifetocoaching,mentoring,andfitness.HelovedfootballandBishopMcDevitt,buthe
lovedhisplayersevenmore.

WhileatDelawareStateUniversityonafullacademicscholarship,Lamarwasastandoutstudent
athlete,earningAllMEAChonorablementionhonorsaswellasallleagueacademichonors.In1997,
LamarsignedwiththeOaklandRaiders.AfterhistimewiththeRaiders,hecamehomeandplayed
manyyearsintheSemiProleaguewiththeCentralPennPiranhas.

Asastudent,athlete,coach,andfriend,Lamarwasimpactful.Inhisname,wehonorhimby
continuingtomakeanimpactonstudentsastheyreachtowardstheirlifegoalsthrougheducation.

Weinviteyoutomakeanimpactandjoinusasasponsorforthiseventbychoosingfromoneofthe
