Hamas' 54 Democratic Congressmen

Keith Ellison, widely hailed as America's first Muslim congressman,
could more accurately be described as CAIR and Hamas' man in
Congress. Congressman Ellison has been a regular presence at CAIR
fundraisers and at pro-Hamas rallies in the United States. As a former
member of Farrakhan's Nation of Islam, Ellison has enough anti-
semitic and Islamist credentials to satisfy anyone, and had expressed
openly anti-semitic beliefs in the past.

Since Ellison got his start with CAIR , his attempt to provide support
for Hamas is completely unsurprising. Both Hamas and CAIR are
projects of the Muslim Brotherhood, which also helped birth Al
Queda. Organizations like CAIR do the same work in America that
Hamas does in Israel. The difference is that CAIR does its work on a
political level, while Hamas functions on both a political and a
military level. Like CAIR, Ellison is careful to cloak his pro-Hamas
agenda, which he does by mentioning that all violence is wrong and
that Israelis probably shouldn't be shelled-- but the thrust of his
agenda is to force Israel to open its border with Hamas.

The entire "Free Gaza" movement is a Hamas propaganda project

that allows it to demand that Israel open its borders, without actually
using the P word, for peace, since Hamas doesn't even believe in
phony peace negotiations. So Pro-Hamas activists, whether it's former
Saddam supporter, George Galloway's Viva Palestina or their
American flavors talk only about "The People of Gaza", deemphasize
Hamas and emphasize the supposed "suffering" within Gaza.

But the call for Israel to open its borders is nothing more than a way
of making it easier for terrorists to strike. Ellison's letter buries its
real agenda in paragraphs of prose about how everyone will be better
off, except somehow Hamas, if Israel complies with their demand...
that Israel ease the movement of people in and out of Gaza. This of
course is a fancy way of saying, "Let my Suicide Bombers go".

None of this is up till now is shocking. But what Congressman Keith

Ellison accomplished was to convince 53 other Democratic
congressmen to join him in this venture. It is not particularly
surprising to find the House's most radical anti-Israel voices signing
their names onto Ellison's letter. It would be inconceivable if a letter
aiding Hamas did not carry the signatures of Barbara Lee, Jim
Moran or Jim McDermott, who helped Ellison spearhead the whole
campaign. It is essentially inconceivable that any letter circulated in
congress opposing Israel would not get their signature.
Jim Moran had managed to blame even the Iraq War on the Jews and
McDermott was actually named CAIR's Public Official of the Year.
Neither is West Virginia Arab Congressman, Nick Rahall, who is the
Democratic party's version of Darrel Issa, who is tied to CAIR as well,
and previously voted against Israel's right to defend itself. Rahall is
also the top recipient of CAIR donations. The likes of Diane Watson
or Pete Stark aren't complete surprises either. Pete Stark has a
history of being both anti-Israel and unstable. Neither is Carolyn
Kilpatrick, who voted against Israel's right to defend itself, and
against condemning terrorist attacks on Israel. Kilpatrick, like
virtually every Democrat on the list, is also tied to CAIR.

Then there's William Delahunt, who all but openly expressed the hope
that a former Cheney aide would be targeted by Al Queda. John
Conyers signing on to this while awaiting prison is no real shocker
either. The man has all but endorsed Sharia law in America. Or John
Dingell who like many Detroit politicians has gone whole hog with the
Islamist Follow Traveler thing.

Congresswoman Betty McCollum has been waging her own private

war on Israel, right down to issuing an imperial demand that Israeli
Ambassador Oren attend the national conference of the far left anti-
Israel group, J Street. McCollum famously belittled Hamas' shelling
of Israel as nothing more than a drug gang's drive by shooting and
repeated the discredited white phosphorous smear. Again, no more
surprising than Chaka Fattah's presence on the list.

Then there's Eric Massa, a former Republican turned turncoat

Democrat, Massa has been consistently loudly anti-war and to the left.
Like virtually every congressman on this list, he's pushed for a phony
ceasefire, that would naturally be one sided. Considering his
increasingly unhinged radicalism, and that he has an election coming
up soon, Massa must be pretty confident that the nutroots can get him
reelected.

It is of course no surprise that this list weighs heavily toward

Minnesota and Michigan, where CAIR is strong. But it also includes
twelve congressmen from California, 3 from New Jersey, 4 from New
York and 6 from Massachusetts. These numbers are not mere
statistics, they define the rising influence of the Muslim Brotherhood
on American politics, state by state.

And it is instructive to note how many of the congressmen and

congresswomen on the list are funded by CAIR money. Keith Ellison,
John Conyers, Loretta Sanchez, Betty McCollum, Lois Capps, Bill
Pascrell, Elijah Cummings, Bob Filner, Mike Honda, Barbara Lee,
John Dingell, James Moran, Nick Rahall, Andre Carson, Mary Jo
Kilroy, Carolyn Kilpatrick and Jim McDermott are among the top
receivers of CAIR money in congress.

Of the top 11 CAIR moneygetters in congress, Nick Rahall, James

Moran, Darrel Issa, John Conyers, Dennis Kucinich, Jesse Jackson,
Jr, John Dingell, Barbara Lee, Carolyn Kilpatrick, Shelia Jackson
Lee and Jim McDerrmott-- 7 out of 11 signed on to Ellison's letter.
That makes the Gaza letter a CAIR project. 5 on that list voted
against condemning attacks on Israel.

And the letter is simply an opening shot as part of a broader

campaign by the Muslim Brotherhood and its American proxies to
attack Israel and promote its own Hamas wing. Its proxies can't
openly come out for Hamas, not in the United States anyway. Not
from members of congress. But they can work toward a common goal.
With this letter, Hamas's masters in the Muslim Brotherhood
demonstrated that they can use CAIR to gather 54 congressmen
together to push its agenda. That is quite a leap for an organization
that is the unindicted co-conspirator in funding Hamas terror It also
demonstrates that Amerabia isn't as far away as we have thought.

AZ Democrat Rep. Raul Grijalva makes

notorious Hamas-linked list
HE sure LUVS HAMAS!

The blogs Sultan Knish and Thoughts of a Conservative Christian give in-depth
reports on the links of 54 Democrat Congressmen to Hamas and CAIR.

Democrat U.S. Reps. Keith Ellison, Betty McCollum, and James Oberstar sent a
deviously worded letter (Click on ”letters” to view the PDF file complete with
signatures) to President Obama (shown here addressing the Muslim world) urging
him to use diplomatic pressure to “resolve the blockade affecting Gaza.” Fifty-four
members of Congress, many of whom have been recipients of CAIR/Hamas linked
largess, have signed on to Ellison’s letter. Ellison widely hailed as America’s first
Muslim congressman, when he took his oath of office on the Koran, could more
accurately be described as CAIR and Hamas’ man in Congress

Pajamas Media previously did an exposé on the California friends of Hamas. The
post includes sections from the Hamas Charter, clearly defining their vicious and
murderous mission.

The U.S. Department of State’s current list of Designated Foreign Terrorist

Organizations, includes Hamas along with numerous Palestinian-based groups.

Arizonans need to contact Rep. Raul Grijalva and ask him why he is associated with
this nefarious bunch. Grijalva’s contact information is at the bottom of this page.

Ellison, McCollum and Oberstar urge Obama to

lift Gaza blockade
By Andy Birkey | 01.26.10

Democratic U.S. Reps. Keith Ellison, Betty McCollum, and James Oberstar sent a
letter urging President Obama late last week urging him to use diplomatic pressure to
resolve the blockade affecting Gaza. Spearheaded by Ellison and Rep. Jim
McDermott, D-Wash., the letter acknowledges the difficult position facing Israel and
notes that the blockade is strengthening Hamas. Fifty members of Congress, as well as
a number of religious groups and denominations, have signed on to Ellison’s letter.
“The unabated suffering of Gazan civilians highlights the urgency of reaching a
resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and we ask you to press for immediate
relief for the citizens of Gaza as an urgent component of your broader Middle East
peace efforts,” the letter urges. “The current blockade has severely impeded the ability
of aid agencies to do their work to relieve suffering.”

Among the groups supporting the letter: J Street, The Holy Land Christian Ecumenical
Foundation (HCEF), The American Task Force on Palestine (ATFP), The American
Near East Refugee Association (ANERA), The Methodist Church, The Friends
Committee on National Legislation (FCNL), and Rabbis for Human Rights.

“We also sympathize deeply with the people of southern Israel who have suffered
from abhorrent rocket and mortar attacks,” the letter states. “We recognize that the
Israeli government has imposed restrictions on Gaza out of a legitimate and keenly felt
fear of continued terrorist action by Hamas and other militant groups. This concern
must be addressed without resulting in the de facto collective punishment of the
Palestinian residents of the Gaza Strip. Truly, fulfilling the needs of civilians in Israel
and Gaza are mutually reinforcing goals.”

The full letter:

President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, DC 20500

Dear President Obama,

Thank you for your ongoing work to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian

conflict and for your commitment of $300 million in U.S. aid to rebuild
the Gaza Strip. We write to you with great concern about the ongoing
crisis in Gaza.
The people of Gaza have suffered enormously since the blockade imposed
by Israel and Egypt following Hamas’ coup, and particularly following
Operation Cast Lead. We also sympathize deeply with the people of
southern Israel who have suffered from abhorrent rocket and mortar
attacks. We recognize that the Israeli government has imposed restrictions
on Gaza out of a legitimate and keenly felt fear of continued terrorist
action by Hamas and other militant groups. This concern must be
addressed without resulting in the de facto collective punishment of the
Palestinian residents of the Gaza Strip. Truly, fulfilling the needs of
civilians in Israel and Gaza are mutually reinforcing goals.

The unabated suffering of Gazan civilians highlights the urgency of

reaching a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and we ask you to
press for immediate relief for the citizens of Gaza as an urgent component
of your broader Middle East peace efforts. The current blockade has
severely impeded the ability of aid agencies to do their work to relieve
suffering, and we ask that you advocate for immediate improvements for
Gaza in the following areas:

* Movement of people, especially students, the ill, aid workers,

journalists, and those with family concerns, into and out of Gaza;

* Access to clean water, including water infrastructure materials,

* Access to plentiful and varied food and agricultural materials;

* Access to medicine and health care products and suppliers;

* Access to sanitation supplies, including sanitation infrastructure

materials;
* Access to construction materials for repairs and rebuilding;

* Access to fuel;

* Access to spare parts;

* Prompt passage into and out of Gaza for commercial and agricultural
goods; and

* Publication and review of the list of items prohibited to the people of

Gaza.

Winter is arriving and the needs of the people grow ever more pressing.
For example, the ban on building materials is preventing the
reconstruction of thousands of innocent families’ damaged homes. There
is also a concern that unrepaired sewage treatment plants will overflow
and damage surrounding property and water resources.

Despite ad hoc easing of the blockade, there has been no significant

improvement in the quantity and scope of goods allowed into Gaza. Both
the number of trucks entering Gaza per month and the number of days the
crossings have been open have declined since March. This crisis has
devastated livelihoods, entrenched a poverty rate of over 70%, increased
dependence on erratic international aid, allowed the deterioration of
public infrastructure, and led to the marked decline of the accessibility of
essential services.

The humanitarian and political consequences of a continued near-

blockade would be disastrous. Easing the blockade on Gaza will not only
improve the conditions on the ground for Gaza’s civilian population, but
will also undermine the tunnel economy which has strengthened Hamas.
Under current conditions, our aid remains little more than an unrealized
pledge. Most importantly, lifting these restrictions will give civilians in
Gaza a tangible sense that diplomacy can be an effective tool for bettering
their conditions.

Your Administration’s overarching Middle East peace efforts will benefit

Israel, the Palestinians, and the entire region. The people of Gaza, along
with all the peoples of the region, must see that the United States is
dedicated to addressing the legitimate security needs of the State of Israel
and to ensuring that the legitimate needs of the Palestinian population are
met.

Hamas loves Obama

by Rodan ( 168 Comments › )
November 11th, 2010

The above picture says it all. Hamas loves Obama and who can blame them.
recently in Indonesian, a nation nowhere near Israel he trashed them. He
attacked Israel while visiting Indonesia, for building apartments in their own
capital. He has had a history being freinds with Palestinian activists and has
supported their cause. He is very anti-Israel and its no shock Hamas and their
followers love the guy!

“Abu Hussain! Palestine loves you!!!”

This slogan, in English, appears on a poster and other
products produced by the Palestinian Hamas movement
and put on sale in Gaza. Yesterday, it adorned the front
pages of several leading Arab dailies.
The “Abu Hussain” is President Obama. The poster
pictures him wearing the signature Arab headgear, the
kaffiyeh.
That the most radical Palestinian faction has declared its
love for the president may be bad news for the stalled
Middle East peace talks, which Obama has promised to
help restart before the end of the year.
Read the rest: Why Hamas loves Bam

The love Hamas has for Barack Hussein Obama is just another example of the
Islamic-Progressive Axis. Obama’s heart is with the Palestinians whom he
views as fellow 3rd worlders. He has no sympathy for Israel and his actions
show.

"Abu Hussain! Palestine loves you!!!"

This slogan, in English, appears on a poster and other products

Gaza. Yesterday, it adorned the front pages of several leading Arab
dailies.
The "Abu Hussain" is President Obama. The poster pictures him
wearing the signature Arab headgear, the kaffiyeh.
That the most radical Palestinian faction has declared its love for the
president may be bad news for the stalled Middle East peace talks,
which Obama has promised to help restart before the end of the year.
AP
He's their hero: Mugs depicting Obama in an Arab kaffiyeh on sale
right by similar Yasser Arafat curios in a Gaza shop Tuesday.
According to its charter, Hamas wants to eliminate Israel and to
replace it with a single Palestinian state covering the territory of the
Jewish state and the territories it occupied in 1967.
Iran, Libya and a range of radical Islamist movements, including al
Qaeda, support Hamas' policy, sometimes known as the "one-state
solution." But Obama has said he supports President George W.
Bush's two-state policy.
If Hamas' declaration of love for Obama is based on a
misunderstanding, the problem may lie in Obama's ambiguous
approach to the Arab-Israeli conflict.
When Bush said he wanted a two-state solution, he saw the realities on
the ground as the starting point. Obama and his special emissary,
George Mitchell, however, have talked about a return to the pre-1967
"borders" as demanded by several UN resolutions.
But there were no borders in 1967 -- only cease-fire lines drawn at the
end of the 1948 war. And there was no Palestine to have any borders
-- the cease-fire lines separated Israel on the one hand from Egypt,
Jordan, Lebanon and Syria on the other. Indeed, a return to those
cease-fire lines would be tantamount to recreating a situation that had
already led to two wars.
Obama also drops hints that he means to be tough with Israel. To
advertise his toughness, he makes occasional statements about Jewish
settlements. Yet this puts the whole exercise on a different trajectory,
with talks focused on the settlements rather than the core issue -- the
creation of a Palestinian state.
Pressuring Israel may look good to "Abu Hussain" and his Hamas
admirers. But it may reduce the chances of agreement on the creation
of a Palestinian state.
Fearful that its chief ally, America, might be trying to abandon it or,
worse still, stab it in the back, Israel may revert to what Prime
Minister Yitzhak Shamir called "the hedgehog strategy." Because
Israel holds the lands on which a Palestinian state is to be built, there
would be no progress in that direction.
History shows that Israel has made concessions -- including
withdrawing from vast territories it captured from Egypt, Jordan and
Lebanon -- only when it has felt sure of its principal ally.
Peace is made when
1) the winner of a war (or a series of wars) is convinced that he can
create a new status quo in his favor, especially by ensuring his
security, and 2) the loser also feels that the peace offer is the best it
could hope for under the circumstances. Obama's approach meets
neither condition.
The winner, Israel, feels threatened by what it feels is a US attempt at
bullying it into a deal. The loser, the Palestinian side, is deluded into
thinking that, thanks to Obama's support, it can hold out for an ever-
elusive better deal. Believing that they have US support, some
Palestinians are even talking of declaring statehood without winning
prior Israeli approval.
Obama's Mideast policy has made progress toward peace more
difficult. His promise of achieving a peace deal before year's end
seems destined to join a long list of other broken promises.
