OBJECTIVE:
Looking for a position in a challenging environment where I can contribute to
the growth of the organization and my career with my software testing skills,
innovation and constant updation.
SUMMARY:

3+ years experience in Software Testing (Manual and Automation) with

solid understanding of test planning, test management, execution and defect
tracking.

Good experience writing automation suites with Selenium automation tool.

Good at understanding, analyzing the product requirements and identifying

the requirement gaps and user experience issues.

Best at writing test cases thinking from all different aspects functional,
negative, boundary, performance, security testing areas.

Good at writing SQL queries for testing purposes.

Good at communicating within and across teams, product managers, User

experience team and maintain healthy relationship.

Have taken initiative and introduced many efficient testing tools and white
box testing tools which enhanced the performance and productivity of our
testing to the great extent.

Best known across our company, for thinking from users perspective and
finding many revenue-impacted issues.

Highlights:

Submitted patent for Asynchronous action multi threaded web driver.

It solves the problem with current web driver, which can do sequential actions
only. Say you need to fill a form, which contains first name, last name, email,
mobile, etc. Current web drivers can fill these details in sequential manner. My
web driver can fill these fields in parallel and saves lot of overall. It can do
sequential action and parallel actions also, all we need to do annotate
(@parallel, @sequential) accordingly.

Did tooling to integrate with one of top security tools IronWasp. When
a functional automation test runs, this tooling automatically does security
testing of 25 web vulnerabilities (SQL injection, cross site scripting, etc) and
creates a detailed report of security issues. Using this, we can do security
testing of entire application without any extra effort.

Wrote AutoGackWatcher tool, which parses through the exceptions that

happens during/post deployment and intimate the corresponding team by
making voice call and also by sending full detail of exception through
message.

Introduced following white box testing tools to the team, which improved
the performance of our testing and site in great extent.
JSCover: Instruments the code and it gives code coverage of entire
application. It provides rich set of code coverage reports.
IE JS leak detector: Helps in identifying the memory leaks of application.

Jiffy: Helps in measuring the performance of the Java Script functions and
APIs

Introduced following testing tools to the team, which comprehensively

reduced workload in smarter ways.
Content Compare: Compares the content of two web pages, this helps
when we need to test a web page content in multiple environments.
Xenu link checker: Crawls through entire website and checks if every link
working fine or not.
Spello: Checks the spelling of every word in the web site and gives report.

Identified ways in which our company revenues could be increased and

presented my findings to all upper management including SVP,
managers. Company benefited with increase in number of users after
implementing the solution.

Efftronics products end to end testing (Team size: 1)

Efftronics products page have details about all the products, where users can look
for specifications, features, working, benefits of products and place orders. The aim
of this project is to find defects on live site and get it fixed to make better user
experience, as there were lots of complaints from the users while using site.
Highlights and challenges:

I found lot of revenue impacted and user experience bugs. It took more than
2 months to fix all those bugs and rolled out to Live in different maintenance
releases.
We saw huge reduction in customer complaints after fixing all the issues.
I got appreciations from the VP for handling the project alone being a fresher
and for quick analysis of the site.

Element14 project (Team size: 3)

Element14 is e-commerce site for electronics products. We needed to work with our
partner to expose our products. There were so many combinations of products we
exposed and tested.
Highlights and challenges:

I worked this project with service team, where people do complete manual
testing. There is a lot of pain in testing existing functionality in addition to the
new functionality in 4 different environments before going to live.
So I automated all the existing cases and possible new cases in first
environment itself to avoid repetition of testing.
I have found lot of work related problems of this team and introduced many
of the above-mentioned tools and made testing more efficient.
Identified multiple bugs when we ran tests cross browsers and across all
versions.

Product order redesign (Team size: 3)

As part of this project we redesigned the product order flow to solve the
issues customers facing. It also involves allowing coupon codes, discounts,
combinations products. As part of this testing i placed orders for different products
with all combination of extras, and tested other features like order tracking,
membership, reminder and account services.
Highlights and challenges:

80% of testing is done through Selenium Automation.

Found lot of revenue impacted bugs where users were not able to place the
orders, very higher page load times on few browsers, complete distortion of
site on Ipad.
Found lot of user experience issues like functionality of tool tips, pre filling of
data while placing orders and cookie relates issues.

Efftronics Chat service (Team size: 2)

The main purpose of this project is to allow customer to chat with our support team
when they face problems or need some information. Tested all the flows and corner
cases of the chat application. There were issues that were happening intermittently,
we spend enough time analyzing the logs to find the root causes and fixed all of
them.
Highlights and challenges:

Identified some security issues.

There were lot of bugs which were fixed in multiple iterations, which caused
us have less time for final sign off. We stretched our selves to verify all the
bugs and executed test cases again to make sure project goes to live
successfully in time.
Identified some performance issues.

Leased Line Modem Module (Team size: 2)

Main objective of this project is to interlink devices in the network using 4-wire
leased line communication with 57.6 kbps using V.32bis Standards.
Highlights and challenges:

Involved in component testing and application testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understanding the requirements, estimating time lines, Creating test plan and
test cases.

Identifying ideal Automation Scenarios and automating scripts to verify the

existing functionalities and to reduce manual testing.

Executing manual test cases that needed human eye.

Trouble shooting the issues by looking at the Log Files.

Analyzing the script reports for functionality of the site and took necessary
actions.

Defect logging, reporting and tracking.

Creating proper document for all tests for future reference.

Utilizing above-mentioned testing tools to reduce the work in smarter ways.

Running white box testing tools to profile the efficiency of the code.

Finishing all tasks before much dead lines and playing vital role in rolling out
project Bug free.

EDUCATION:

Obtained State 110th rank in ECET

B.Tech (ECE) with 74.04% from S.R.K.R Engineering College.

Secured college second rank in Polytechnic with 81.21% from Govt

Polytechnic College.
