Sharper than ever, the new HP ProLiant BL460c Gen9 Server Blade earned the
#1 blade spot with SPECint_base2006, SPECfp_base2006, and SPECfp2006
results on the SPEC CPU2006 benchmark. Using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0
operating system and Intel Xeon Processors E5-2643 v3 and E5-2667 v3,
ProLiant BL460c Gen9 Server Blade results defeated the next highest blade

benchmark

HP keeps the performance leadership ball rolling with its latest SPEC
CPU2006 performance results. The 8P and 16P HP Integrity Superdome X
server results on the SPEC CPU2006 benchmark show superior performance,
holding the #1 8P x86 SPEC CPU2006 rate results and #1 overall 16P SPEC

New HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 Server


achieves world records on
SPECvirt_sc2013 benchmark

The new HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 Server has achieved the #1 2P


performance and #1 overall performance/power results on the
SPECvirt_sc2013 benchmark. These results show that the server is ideally
suited for running workloads in a virtualized environment. The server was
configured with two Intel Xeon E5-2699 v3 18-core processors, 16 x 32GB
DDR4 2133 MHz DIMMs, and the new HP Smart Array Controllers P440ar and
P441, running the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (KVM) operating system.

The latest competitive benchmark claims are based on having the #1 VMmark 2.x 2-host, 4P socket-blade with the HP ProLiant BL660c Gen8, and the #1VMmark
2.x multi-host blade, multi-host 2P, and multi-host AMD server with the BL465c Gen8.

TPC-H results show the HP ProLiant DL580 Gen8 Server with a result of 461,837QphH @3,000GB and $2.04/QphH @ 3,000GB, non-clustered see tpc.org/3297
and 404,005QphH @10,000GB and $2.34/QphH non-clustered with system availability as of April 22, 2014 see tpc.org/3298.
TPC-H results show the HP ProLiant DL380 Gen9 Server with a result of 390,590 QphH @ 1000GB and $0.97QphH @ 1000GB, non-clustered, with system

SAP
The ProLiant BL460c Gen8 Server achieved 60,000 SAP SD benchmark users, 328,120 SAPS, and a response time of 0.97 seconds on the three-tier SAP SD
standard application benchmark (certification 2013036). The platform ran Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Datacenter x64 on Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V
operating system, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 database, and SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0. The HP ProLiant BL460c Gen8 Server Blade setup was
configured with: Application tier: 11 x ProLiant BL460c Gen8 Server Blades running 2 VMs each. Each VM is composed of 16 virtual processors. Intel Xeon E52680 @ 2.70GHz (2 processors/16 cores/32 threads), HP Smart Memory 16GB 2Rx4 PC3-12800R 1066MHz (256GB), 1 x Onboard Smart Array P410i Controller
with 1GB FBWC to 2 x internal drives (2 x 300GB 10K 6G SAS SFF), 1 x HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 560FLB Adapter. Database tier: 1 x BL460c Gen8 Server with 1 VM
composed of 48 virtual processors. Intel Xeon E5-2697 v2 @ 2.70GHz (2 processors/24 cores/48 threads); HP Smart Memory 16GB 2Rx4 PC3-12800R 1066MHz
(256GB), 1 x Onboard Smart Array P410i Controller with 1GB FBWC to 2 x internal drives (2 x 300GB 10K 6G SAS SFF); 1 x HP Flex10 10Gb 2-port 530FLB Adapter; 1
x QLogic QMH2572 8Gb FC HBA for HP BladeSystem c-Class to 3PAR V400 with 240 x 600GB FC disks (15K RPM) and 48 x 200GB SSDs.
The ProLiant BL680c G7 Server Blade achieved 128,650 ad-hoc query steps per hour with 3,000,000,000 records on the three-tier SAP NetWeaver BW-EML
standard application benchmark (certification number 2013037). The HP ProLiant BL680c G7 Server Blade was configured with: Presentation tier: One benchmark
driver (SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11); Application tier: One HP ProLiant BL680c G7 Server Blade: Four 2.40GHz Intel Xeon E7-4870 Processors (4
processors/40 cores/80 threads), 512GB main memory and one HP ProLiant BL460c Gen8 Server Blade with two 2.70GHz Intel Xeon E5-2680 Processors (2
processors/16 cores/32 threads), 256GB main memory; Database tier: Four HP ProLiant BL680c G7 Server Blades: Four 2.40GHz Intel Xeon Processors E7-4870
(4 processors/40 cores/80 threads), 512GB main memory on the server, one NC550SFP Dual Port FlexFabric 10Gb Adapter, and one HP P812 FBWC Controller with
25 146GB 15K RPM SAS disk drives in one D2700 Disk Enclosure. The platform ran SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 operating system, the SAP HANA database, and
the SAP NetWeaver technology platform 7.30.
