Preserve the Traditional Markets

Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb.
Dear Mr / Ms Lecturer
And all my friends
Good day and best wishes for all of us
First of all, let us pray all praise thanks to the presence of God because of His grace we are still
able to be met in this room in a healthy state without any deficiency.
Mr / Ms Lecturers and all my friends, on this good occasion let me invite Mr / Mrs Lecturer as
well as all my friends to always maintain the health of our bodies because of the healthy body we
can do our activities well too.
On this good opportunity I will read a speech entitled "Preserve the Traditional Markets".
The market is a word that already familiar, but what can we find in the market? What is
clear in the market is that we will see a lot of sellers who offer a wide range of merchandise.
Then there will be consumers who come, so that there will be bargaining that ended with the sale
and purchase transactions. Here I will discuss about the traditional markets and modern market.
Certainly if we observe between the two definitely gained a distinction. For more details, I will
explain what the traditional and the modern market it!
The traditional market is a meeting place for sellers and buyers, and is characterized by
the presence of direct transaction buyer and seller usually a bargaining process, usually consists
of building kiosks or outlets, stalls and open land that was opened by the seller as well as a
market manager. Most sell daily necessities like food ingredients such as fish, fruits vegetables,
eggs, meat fabrics, clothing electronics goods, services and others.
While the modern market is not much different from the traditional markets, but this type
of market the seller and buyer transaction not directly but buyers see the price tag listed in items
(barcode), located in the building and the services performed independently (self-service) or be
served by the clerk . The goods are sold, in addition to food groceries such as fruit, vegetables,
meat, most of the other items being sold are items that can last a long time. Examples of modern
markets are supermarkets and hypermarkets, and mini-market.
Compared with traditional markets, modern market has a lot of advantages of
comfortable, clean and guaranteed. That it makes the consumer want to buy into the modern

market. Cool, clean, comfortable and has a high prestige to be the mainstay of the modern
market, and it is not owned by traditional markets. Even if we see no weakness of the modern
market. although it has many advantages, but in the modern market system of pricing is not
negotiable / fixed. While traditional markets have several advantages, namely the persistence of
social contacts while bargaining between sellers and buyers. Unlike the modern market are
forcing consumers to abide the price that has been set, and also the desire to acquire products at
low prices in times of crisis makes traditional market was saved from the pressure of modern
markets and traditional markets describe the pulse of the economy of the people in general.
Currently in my neighborhood, it was obvious modern markets like minimarket and the
like more often found. Compare with the traditional market of the had not changed. Therefore,
the local government should be concerned about the existence of traditional markets as a means
of public support economic activities.
For now, that should be the government's attention and the traditional market traders is
how to keep the traditional markets can be made more feasible as the transaction without having
to drastically change its image or trademark as traditional markets. In this regard needs to be
taken into consideration to be addressed is the cleanliness, the floor is dry and not muddy, the
location of the seller in accordance with the arrangement of groups of goods sold, airy hallway to
buyers who are not cramped, no lighting arrangement and setting healthy air, guaranteed
security, existing landfills and garbage piled up, a smooth traffic arrangements, available
information center, a clean place to rest and enjoy traditional foods, regular training for the
traders on how to cope with fires and how to escape in case of fire, and so on, so that they can
make the traditional market more attractive than the modern market.
If the traditional market can be well managed and attractive, then there should be no
conflict between traditional and modern market. Both evolved with the nuances and its own
appeal. Does not rule out the possibility that the high-income group and the middle and upper
classes would also be interested to occasionally visit traditional market to enjoy a variety of
things that are not available in the modern market.
Dear Mr / Ms Lecturer
