Making origami pig tutorial

This tutorial is wroten by Ronald Koh.Steps 1 to 11 show one way of
dividing the paper diagonally into 10ths.Feel free to use any other way
that you may know for this purpose.Standard origami paper will do for
this model.A25cm square will produce a model of approximately 9.5cm.

Fold and unfold diagonally in both directions

vertically and horizontally

then fold and unfold

Now fold and unfold between the circled landmarks.Crease only at the
intersection of the new and existing diagonal line.
Fold the top left corner to the circled landmark.Crease only where the
new line intersects the top edge of the paper.

circled landmarks

Repeat steps 7 to 9 to complete dividing the paper in this direction.Turn

the paper over.
Fold and unfold again as shown,then turn the paper over.

Fold and unfold once more.Collapse the paper along existing crease lines
as illustrated

One more fold and unfold, then onpen 'sink and unsink'.Open out
completely and turn the paper white side up.

Mountain fold,Reverse fold both sides,then fold the resulting

flap.upwards and down again along the valley fold line.

Turn the paper over.

Valley fold the corners at the sides to the left bottom corner.Swivel one
flap downwards to the right.Valley fold one layer only.

then valley fold the layer at the bottom,swivelling the loose paper to the
right.Reverse fold.Fold up.

Repeat from step 33 on the right side

Restore the corners to the sides again and turn paper over.Valley fold.

neck.Repeat on the other side.
Narrow the head piece slightly with mountain folds on both sides.Figure
45 shows the rear view of the model.
Fold up as illustrated.

Narrow the tail piece as shown,like 47.Now close up.Pull the tail down a
little.Mountain fold both sides of the belly and valley fold the ears.Crimp
fold face as illustrated,Out side reverse fold the fail.Valley the ears and
reverse fold the right hind leg and snout.

Shape the tail,right hind leg and face,.

and reverse fold to form hoofs on the hind legs.Repeat on the fore
legs.Now to complete the eyes.Crimp fold both sides of the
head,flattening the top slightly.
Crimp fold at the back of the forelegs and mountain fold the corners at
the butt,then depress along the back of the pig to round off the body.
