Government. Ensuring SoS resources from Phoenix are made
accessible to the rest of Arizona. Q/A topics: How to dispel
rumor/assumption that if the governor is a Democrat, that the
Sec’y of State has to be a Republican? Need to fix state gov’t.
Had a small real estate firm (mostly residential). Running
traditional; requested donations; in 2007-8, DPS interdicted 6x
number of guns & cash than in the 8 years prior due to smarter
policies and tactics being applied; need to create policies to get
people here legally and humanely; tax code needs revising;

School council, currently serving on CFSD school board;
strong pro-education stance; concern about overall health of
the state; all issues depend upon support for education: need
education for jobs, economic growth, business success,
rational discussion re. land/water use, etc. Q/A topics: running
traditional; requested donations; immigration – border issues
are federal, not state/local jurisdiction; need long-term thinking
and not short-term approaches; no one’s talking, partisan
climate at state legislature; where can we recover revenue,
revise the formula for funding;
