On Saturday, April 11, 2015 at approx. 4:15 AM, Precinct 3 officers responded to 902 Bailey
Ave. at the Blue Chip Lounge regarding an auto burglary. Upon officers arrival it was learned
that a vehicle had been burglarized and several items were taken.
During the course of the investigation, Detectives developed Marquez Washington, Pitrell Brister
and Katie Lynn as suspects in this incident. They were later identified as suspects and have been
charged with one count of auto burglary each stemming from this incident.
On Saturday, April 11, 2015 at approx. 6:00 AM, Precinct 4 officers responded to The Green
Room at 444 Bounds St. regarding an armed robbery of several individuals at this location. Upon
officers arrival they made contact with four victims whom had been robbed at gunpoint by two
black male suspects occupying a Ford Taurus. There was also an unidentified female in the
vehicle as well. The victims were robbed for their personal belongings which included wallets,
purses and jewelry. One of the victims was also assaulted by one of the suspects and had severe
injuries to the head. She was treated for non life-threatening injuries. The suspects fled to an
undisclosed location.
During the course of the investigation, Detectives developed Marquez Washington, Pitrell Brister
and Katie Lynn as suspects in this incident. They were later identified as suspects.
They have been charged with four counts of armed robbery of an individual. Marquez
Washington was charged with one additional count of aggravated assault.
On Saturday, April 11, 2015 at approx. 7:10 AM, Precinct 3 officers responded to 759
Glencross Dr., at the Willow Point Apartments regarding several auto burglaries. Upon officers
arrival it was learned that four auto burglaries had occurred at this location and several items
were taken.
During the course of the investigation, Detectives developed Marquez Washington, Pitrell Brister
and Katie Lynn as suspects in this incident. They were later identified as suspects and have been
charged with four counts of auto burglary each stemming from this incident.

On Saturday, April 11, 2015 at approx. 8:30 PM, Precinct 4 officers responded to shots fired
in the area of Manhattan Park at 5401 Manhattan Rd. Officers later discovered a victim in the
300 block of Francis St. suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was transported
to UMC for medical treatment. He is listed in stable condition.
During the course of the investigation, it was learned that he was shot at in Manhattan Park by a
black male subject attempting to rob him and take his vehicle. He was able to flee from the
suspect. The suspect was able to take possession of the victims jewelry. Robbery/Homicide
Detectives developed Marquez Washington as a suspect in this incident. He was later identified
and has been charged with armed robbery of an individual and aggravated assault.
Katie Lynn was arrested on Sunday, April 12, 2015 and is currently in jail. The investigation is
ongoing and more charges are possible.
