The composition of the Earth's atmosphere

Forming gas atmosphere called the air. Earth's atmosphere consists of nitrogen
(78.17%) and oxygen (20.97%), with a bit of argon (0.93%), and other gases. Nitrogen gas is
the most abundant gas in Earth's atmosphere or the air layer. One source is derived from the
burning remains of the farm and the consequences of volcanic eruptions. Another gas which
is pretty much in the atmosphere is a layer of air or oxygen. Oxygen, among others, comes
from the process of photosynthesis in green leafy plants. In the process of photosynthesis,
plants absorb carbon dioxide from the air and release oxygen. Besaral natural carbon dioxide
gas from the breathing of living creatures, the animals and humans. As well as carbon dioxide
gas artificially derived from industrial combustion fumes, smoke in motor vehicles, forest
fires, and others. In addition to the four above-mentioned gas there are several other gases

lainnya.Gas nitrogen merupakan gas yang paling banyak terdapat dalam lapisan
udara atau atmosfer bumi. Salah satu sumbernya yaitu berasal dari pembakaran
sisa-sisa pertanian dan akibat letusan gunung api. Gas lain yang cukup banyak
dalam lapisan udara atau atmosfer adalah oksigen. Oksigen antara lain berasal
dari hasil proses fotosintesis pada tumbuhan yang berdaun hijau. Dalam proses
fotosintesis, tumbuhan menyerap gas karbondioksida dari udara dan
mengeluarkan oksigen. Gas karbondioksida secara alami besaral dari
pernapasan mahkluk hidup, yaitu hewan dan manusia. Serta secara buatan gas
karbondioksida berasal dari asap pembakaran industri, asap kendaraan
bermotor, kebakaran hutan, dan lain-lain.Selain keempat gas tersebut di atas
ada beberapa gas lain yang terdapat di dalam atmosfer, yaitu di antaranya ozon.
Minyak bumi adalah campuran komplek hidrokarbon plus senyawaan organik
dari Sulfur, Oksigen, Nitrogen dan senyawa-senyawa yang mengandung
konstituen logam terutama Nikel, Besi dan Tembaga. Minyak bumi sendiri bukan
merupakan bahan yang uniform, melainkan berkomposisi yang sangat
bervariasi, tergantung pada lokasi, umur lapangan minyak dan juga kedalaman
sumur. Dalam minyak bumi parafinik ringan mengandung hidrokarbon tidak
kurang dari 97 % sedangkan dalam jenis asphaltik berat paling rendah 50 %.
