Topic: Unit 8 Its Story Time!

Integrated Skills: Reading and Writing.
Content Standard: 1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to pronounce words
and speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation.
Learning Standard(s):1.1.4 Able to talk about a stimulus with guidance.
Language Focus: Wh-Questions
Behavioural Objectives: By the end of the lesson pupils should be able to:
listen to the Little Red Riding Hood story and identify the characters in the
story.
answer the questions prompted during the hot seat with guidance.
Previous Knowledge: Pupils know how to read story book.
Instructional Materials: Marker pens, magic paper, textbook Year 3, story book entitled The Little Red
Riding Hood

Moral Values : - one should always listen and remember the advices from

representative from Group 1
and Group 2 to be Marry and
one student from Group 3
and Group 4 to be The Wolf.
5. That particular student needs
to sit at the front of the class
and imagine himself as the
character in the story.
6. Other pupils need to discuss
in groups and write down two
questions that will be asked to
the character during the hot
seats activity.
7. Teacher gives example.
8. The activity ends when all the
characters had been covered.
