WELCOME

We are so glad you have joined us today! Our desire is that God
would bless and direct this time together. Worship is an
interactive, participatory experience and our prayer is that the
service today would strengthen and encourage you on your
spiritual journey. Whether you are new to faith, just coming back
to church, or a long-time follower of Jesus, we hope you find your
time with us engaging and meaningful.

WH AT TO EXPECT TOD AY
Worship: a time to connect with God through song and prayer.
Feel free to stand and sing with us as we praise God through
singing by following the on-screen lyrics. A typical service lasts
about 65 minutes.
Offering: We give tithes and offerings as a part of worship in
obedience, celebration, and thanksgiving to the Lord. Its also just
our way of saying, We love our church and we want to support
it! If you are a guest, you are not expected or obligated to give.
Children: We have a fully-staffed Nursery for ages three and
below. Kids ages 4-12 will be dismissed during the service to the
childrens chapel to be taught by Pastor Linda and her staff.
Message: The teaching time seeks to communicate biblical truth
in compelling, relevant ways. All of our messages are available
as podcast on our website www.estillnaz.org or through iTunes.
Response: When God is speaking, we take time to respond.
Most of the time this is after the message, but at other times it
may be in the middle of the service. An invitation is never needed
if you want to pray at the altar.
Communion: We take time monthly to celebrate Communion
and welcome all followers of Jesus Christ to participate in this act
of worship and remembrance regardless of membership or
denomination.

FAMILY MINISTRIES
Communication
We praise the Lord that we are an active and growing church
family, and we want to communicate with everyone as best as
we can. Our most effective tools of communication are Email
and Facebook. These two mediums reach the most people and
are the easiest way for you to stay informed.
We will primarily use these methods to let you know of prayer
requests, services, deaths, births, guest speakers, upcoming
events, special needs, etc.. In rare situations we may also use
texting.
If you are not receiving emails from us, please call the church
office to make sure we have your correct contact information.
You can find us on Facebook at Estill Springs Nazarene
Church. We also have a website www.estillnaz.org which
contains tons of information and announcements.
Another way you can help with communication is share the
news with those around you. This will help ensure that those
who do not use email or Facebook will receive the information,
too.

OUTREACH MINISTRIES
Jail Ministry Volunteers Needed
We currently have an active Jail Ministry where we visit the
Franklin County Jail and minister to the ladies there. We have a
Bible Study and discussion as well as spending some time getting
to know the ladies. It is a great opportunity to be Jesus.
Jeannie Frederick is currently leading this ministry. She NEEDS
volunteers to go with her each week. This visit is for only one
hour and is currently on Mondays or Fridays from 9am to 10am.
You could do this! Pray and let Jeannie or Pastor Matt know if
you can help in this area.

MICAH 6:8 MINISTRY from Sandy Schefcik

Did You Know that on April 15, 2015, the Tennessee Senate
passed two measures to protect women and their unborn children:
Informed Consent/48 Hour Waiting Period and a requirement that
abortion facilities be licensed as ambulatory surgical centers? All
that is needed now is passage on the floor of the Tennessee House
possibly Monday, April 20. We give glory and honor to the Author of
all life for this long-awaited victory. The debate concerning the
informed consent and waiting period measure was not without
frustration for pro-life legislators and observers as three pro-abortion
members took every opportunity to hinder passage of the bill,
comparing abortion to gun rights and drivers license privileges and
repeating the abortion mantra of putting legislators in the middle of
private decisions. Pro-life members listened with patience and
some eloquently defended the measure while speaking for the
unborn children who cant speak for themselves. Fortunately, the
pro-life Senate majority stood firm under extreme pressure from
abortion advocates since the beginning of the session in
January. The final vote was 27 yes, 5 no and 1 present not
voting. This week, please pray and fast in thanksgiving for the
Senate victory and pray that the same favor will be found in the
House. Also, please pray for pro-life legislators, that they will not be
swayed by Planned Parenthoods rhetoric and intimidation tactics
and will take advantage of this opportunity to stand for life. May
they heed only to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
