1. What problems do you have learning English?


2. How would you use English if you could speak it better? How do you currently use
English, how have you used English in the past, what opportunities do you have to
use English in the future?
3. How do you feel your progress has been as an English learner? Slow, fast lately,
steady, stuck, bumpy? Think of some adjectives.
4. How is your confidence in speaking English? What about in writing? Listening
comprehension? What makes you feel more confident in speaking writing first,
talking in pairs first, small groups, a good class atmosphere, depends on the
teacher? How do you prefer to express yourself in Spanish writing, speaking, art,
music, humor?
5. What part of the English language or learning English fascinates you or is interesting and
exciting to you?

6. Tell me about a good English teacher and a bad English teacher you had in the
past.

opportunities, fear? What are you lacking or what would you need to get
