The wizard of OZ

Chapter 1
The cyclone
Dorothy was a girl who lived in the Midwest state of Kansas, she lived in a small
house with her uncle Henry who was a farmer, her aunt Em and Toto, the dog.
That day was like the other ones, nothing special, but them they felt a strange
movement of the hearth, when everything looked so calm, suddenly a tornado
blew her house in the air, everybody freaks out, her aunt Em was screaming,
she tried to get Toto with her, the tornado made her being in the eye of the
tornado, every time she was higher and higher, even on the top of the cyclone.
She was there only with her dog Toto, he did not like it all that shaking so he
started barking, when all the shake stopped, Dorothy caught Toto and stayed in
the room for about an hour, then she crawled to her bed and lay down upon it,
Toto was next to her and she quickly closed her eyes and fell asleep.
Chapter 2
The council with munchkins
Dorothy woke up of her sleep, she and Toto went outside the room to see where
they were, and she found a beautiful place she had never been in. In the
distance she reach to see an old lady that looked like a fairy like the one of the
fairy tales. The all greeted Dorothy with a great Joy and the Witch of the North
explained to Dorothy that she killed the witch of the east; Dorothy was so
confused, she had never killed nothing in her life, but according to the witch of
the north, Dorothy killed the witch of the east with her house, even her shoes
still fastened to one of the corners of the house.
The witch told Dorothy that she can use the shoes of the witch of the east and
the explained her all about the amazing Land of Oz, the Great Oz and the
witches. Dorothy still confused, the only thing she wanted to do was go back
with her aunt and uncle. She was warned about all the hazards she could face
on the road. She had to go to the city of Emeralds where the wizard Oz lived.
She had to take a yellow brick road; the witch of the north gave her a kiss on
the cheek and Dorothy began her journey.
Chapter 3- how Dorothy saved the scarecrow
When Dorothy was alone where the witch of the north left her, she was thinking
on her way to the city of the emeralds she was accompanied by Toto and after
all the things that happened she felt hungry; she found brook and drink a
sparkling water Toto went barking to the birds of the trees and when Dorothy
went to get Toto she saw delicious fruits. She admired everything that was
around her, the Land of Oz was a beautiful place and the Munchkins were really
nice people. She washed her dress, put the witch of the east`s shoes and the
she prepared a basket with bread.

There were many roads but she cannot get lost, she just had to follow the one
paved with yellow brick, Dorothy star her trip to the city of Emeralds and in the
evening she was tired and worried because she did not know where to spend
the night, but in the distance she heard some fiddles playing, when she was
near the celebration everybody greeted her and invite her to stayed.
The next day she had to return to her journey to the city of Emeralds, she ask
Boj about how far was she from the city, he said she was really away from it.
Walking, Dorothy saw a scarecrow that twinkled at her and could talk, Dorothy
helped him to get off the scarecrow of a pole. The scarecrow was so grateful
that said to Dorothy that he will obey her in everything.
Chapter 4- the road through the forest
After Dorothy helped the scarecrow they stated walking, Dorothy could see that
the scarecrow had some problems walking so she ask why, the scarecrow told
her that the problem was that he has no brain.
When they continued walking on their way to the city of Emeralds the
landscape was getting different from what she had seen before, there were less
tree and fruits, less houses and Munchkins. Dorothy ask to the scarecrow if he
could tell her a story about something, he said he has not lived a lot, but he
narrated the story about how he was made by a farmer.
After a long way walked, Dorothy and Toto were really tired, for Toto it was easy
to see in the dark and surprisingly for the scarecrow too. Dorothy helped the
scarecrow to walk while he was looking for a place to stay. He found a small
cottage and they stayed there, Dorothy fell asleep and Toto too, the scarecrow
stood in one corner because he was never tired.
Chapter 5- the rescue of the Tin Woodman
When Dorothy and Toto woke up they returned to their journey, in the road
paved with yellow bricks they heard an interesting sound, they went into the
woods and they found a woodman who need help. The woodman ask Dorothy
to bring an oil can that he had in his cottage. Dorothy went running for the oil
can and applied some oil to the woodman in his joints and the woodman
instantly felt well. He asked where they were going to, they said they were
going to see the Great Oz because Dorothy wanted to come back to Kansas
and the scarecrow wanted a brain. He ask if he could join to the journey and go
to see the Great Oz and ask him if he could give him a heart. The scarecrow
and Dorothy interest a lot in the story of the woodman. He told them he was
the son of a woodman and when he father died he would take care of his
mother; he fell in love with a beautiful munchkin and she compromised to
marry him, but the wicked witch cut his leg, he went to a tinsmith and he built
him a new leg, then the witch cut his arms, the tinsmith built some arms for
him, but at the end the witch decides to cut him in halves; so he went again to
the tinsmith and he fixed, but this time he does not have a heart.

Chapter 6- the cowardly lion

As they continued on the yellow paved road they heard of loud roar. Suddenly a
big lion appeared and bit the companions, and tried to scare Toto. Dorothy was
mad about it and hit the lion on her nose, the lion started crying because
Dorothy bit him on the nose, he explained to Dorothy that he was a coward
lion, every time he felt someone going on his way he roared and everyone
scared. When Dorothy and his friend told him where and what they were going
for to see Oz he joined the team because he wanted that Oz would give him
courage.

Chapter 7- the journey to the great Oz

When was dark in the night they had to build a little shelter whit braches, they
stayed the night there. The sun was shining again and they all were really
excited for the journey they would continue, as they were asking through the
forest they could appreciate that every step the forest was getting harder, they
had to climb down, they spent some time honking what they could do, but the
lion offered and took to all his parties in his back and help them to go to the
other side of the road. While they continue in their way the lion said that this
was the forest where thekalidahs lived. The kalidahs were big beast with tiger
head. The heard the kalidahs coming, but they had to cross a ditch, the tin
Woodman cut the tree and the lion push it down with his paws so they could
cross the ditch; the lion row so loud to the kalidahs that ever Dorothy
screamed. The Kalidahs could not follow them so they continued the yellow
paved road to the Land of Oz
Chapter 8- the deadly poppy field
When they were in the river, the scarecrow got stuck into a pole so his friends
had to leave him in the river and go to the shore of the river, when they were in
the shore they felt sad for the scarecrow but suddenly a stock appeared and
help to get the scarecrow out of the river, they were really thankful for that,
they continue the road of the yellow brick but there was a field of beautiful
flowers and as they continued the flowers were fewer and the found in a
meadow full au poppies, this poppies made Dorothy and Toto fall asleep, the
lion also fall asleep, so they scarecrow and the tin woodman took Dorothy and
Toto to a part were was green grass and left the lion in the meadow of poppies.
Chapter 9-the queen of field mice
When the scarecrow and the tin woodman were In the grass waiting for Dorothy
and Toto to wake up they heard a sound, the ton woman react and kill a tiger,
he realized the tiger was following a little mouse, the little mice was the queen
of the mice. She was really thankful because he saved her life so she ask if she
could do something, he told her that she need that all the mice brought a string

and built a truck for the lion, with some trees and the string the mice carried
the lion to the grass so the lion, Dorothy an Toto woke up from their sleep and
continue their journey to the paved yellow brick road.
Chapter 10- the guardian of the gate
When they returned to the yellow brick paved road it was getting dark, the
could see they were near emerald city because there were many farmers like
the munchkins just that this ones wear green. When they were walking in the
evening they ask a woman for a place to stay, the woman was afraid of the
lion, but Dorothy explained her that he was a cowardly lion. They stayed there,
had a delicious dinner and talk with the womans husband, he told them that
no one has ever seen Oz and that people say many thing about him that no
one knows if it is true. When that night came they all went to sleep, the next
day they continued and found a big gate, there was a little man wearing green,
they told him why was that they were going to see the great Oz so he accepted
to take them to the palace but with the proper conditions to be in the emerald
city.
Chapter 11- the wonderful city of oz.
They went to the wonderful city of the emerald, when they were in the palace
they were told to stay for several days because oz. was going to see one by
day. The first was Dorothy, she found a big head that was oz., she told him that
she wanted to go back to Kansas, he said no until she killed the witch of the
west. Dorothy felt frustrated, the next day was the scarecrow, he wanted a
heart, this time a tiny lady as Oz, she also said no. the next day was the tin
woodman, he found a big beast as Oz, he did not get a heart and finally the lion
found a big fire ball as the great Oz and he did not get what he wanted until the
witch were kill. So they planned a new adventure to kill the witch.
Chapter 12- the search of the wicked witch
Their journey was full of danger because the powerful Witch knew that they
were coming. She tried to destroy them with various opportunities. Finally, the
Witch sent the Winged Monkeys after the travelers. The Monkeys were bound
to the Golden Cap, which said that its owner could command them to do
whatever he or she wanted three times. The Witch commanded them to
destroy the Tin Woodman and Scarecrow and bring her Dorothy and the Lion.
Dorothy, who she could not harm since the Good Witch of the North had given
her a mark of protection, was made to work in the Witch's kitchen. The Lion
was chained up when he refused to toil for her.
Chapter 13- the rescue
Everyone was so happy because the wicked witch had been melted by a bucket
of water
, overall the yellow winkies felt so great with that, the wont be
slaves anymore. Dorothy and the lion were happy, but they felt were missing
their friend; the had the idea that the yellow winkioes could fix the tin
woodman and the scarecrow. Most of the yellow tinkies were good tinsmiths so

they started fixing the tin woodman and one of them made a gold axe for him.
After that they went to safe the scarecrow, he was thankful as usual; now, all
the friend are reunited and can go to see that great oz and ask for their wishes.
They stayed at the castle for everal days but hen they decided to go to
emerald city , Dorothy wore the wicket witch cap and the road with his four
friend begun again.
Chapter 14- the winged monkies
When they were looking for the wicked witch they went for a way with no path,
so now they were kind of lost because it was getting noon and they could not
identify where the noth or east was. Then, they called for help to the mices, as
they have saved the queen of the mices nos they mice were going to help
them, so they were ready to help then and the wanted to know what can they
do for these travelers, Dorothy wanted that the mice take them into the yellow
paved road, the queen of the mice said that with that cap she had on she could
call the winged mokies ti take her to emerald city againg and thus time without
too much walking. Doroythy called the monkeys and she with her friend was
carried in the air by the monkies to emerald city. One of the monkeys told the
story of why all the monkeys must obey to the one who wears that yellow cap.
Chapter 15- the discovery of Oz the terrible
And so they were in emerald city, they rang the bell and the guard did the
same procedure as he had done before. The people of emerald city knew
about what Dorothy made to the wicked witch so a big crowd followed her to
the castle. The stayed at the castle for some days because they never had an
answer from Oz, the scarecrow send a message for Oz that if they could not
see him soom, they will call the monkeys and destroyed him, with such a polite
warning oz decided to see them. When they went to the room in which they
were said oz was going to be there they found a littlebold man dressed in black
and surprisingly he was the great and terrible oz, everyone felt disappointed,
each of tem had a different version of Oz and the found he had cheated on
them. As a result of his discovery os had to tell the truth. He said he was born
in Omaha, not so far from Kansas, and when he was young he was a
ventriloquist and then he became circus man, so he traveled for the world in an
air balloon and appeared in emerald city and he build it because there were
not many thing. After all his speech of forgiveness everyone claimed for his
wsh so he said to them to come the next day and he will find out how to give
them their wish.
Chapter 16-the magic art of the great humbug
Due to the big day, everyone was so exited because finally hey would have
what thay have alwayd wanted. the scarecrow was the first to go into the room,
Oz took off the scarecrows head and put some pins and needles; the scarecrow
felt so happy with his brain; the bext day was the tin woodmans turn, ox called
a tinsmith and made a little cut on his chest and put a heart, the tin woodman
was exited about it and very tankful too. The next to go to room was the lion,

he was told to drink a weird beverage to get courage, he hesitated a little bit
but he did. At the end everybody was happy but Oz has not figured out how to
send Dorothy back to Kansas.
Chapter 17- how the balloon was launched.
