Everyone agrees that our planet is

getting warmer. It has shown that
earths average surface temperature
has increased 0.6C (33.8F) over the last
100 years.
Greenhouse gases help keep the planet
within habitable temperatures. Earths
greenhouse gas is made up of several
components which is Water Vapor,
Carbon Dioxide and Ozone are the
dominant stabilizing greenhouse gases.
Levels of carbon dioxide, methane and
nitrous
oxide
have
increased
substantially over the last century.
Carbon dioxide is the most important of
these three and its higher than it has
ever been over 650,000 years.

The causes of global

warming
Sunspots are also said to be a cause or
catalyst for global warming. Recent
reports suggest that the number of
sunspots in an area directly effects the
amount of time the nearby earths takes
to cool. The earth absorbs about 70% of
the earths solar. This solar increases
the
temperature
of
the
earths
atmosphere, land and oceans. There are
two causes global warming;-

.Natural Global Warming

Causes
The most prominent natural causes
include
volcanic
eruption,solar
variations, methane release etc. The
volcanic eruptions and global warming

can be attributed to the fact that a

single volcanic eruptions tends to
release amount of carbon dioxide and
ash in the atmosphere. Theres one
important trigger which has to be taken
into consideration is methane release.
Methane release is a fact that this
greenhouse gas has a life of 7 years. It
will take 7 whole years to clear off
methane
concentration
in
the
atmosphere.

.Anthropogenic Global
Warming Causes
The large scale environmental pollution
which results in dumping of various
greenhouse gases, including carbon
dioxide, carbon monoxide and CFCs in
the atmosphere can be attributed to
human activities such as industrial
production, burning of fossil fuel,
modern lifestyle..etc. Methane release is
not just contributed to nature, it is also

counted in by various human activities.

Methane release in the atmosphere as a
result of two important human activities
1)Mining and 2)Cattle Rearing
When ground is dug during the process
of mining, methane trapped beneath the
earths crust is released.

Hybrid cars run on gas and electricity.
The average hybrid can save 16,000
pounds of carbon dioxide. Here are
some ways to stop global warming;=Check your water heater
=Take care with your appliances
=Save energy
=Use ceiling fans rather than airconditioner

INTRODUCTION OF
GREENHOUSE EFFECT

The greenhouse is an increase in the

average temperature of the earth. It
happens because certain gases absorb
infrared heat that would normally be
radiated into space. Since carbon
dioxide absorbs the heat , the more
carbon dioxide there is in the
atmosphere, the warmer the air will be.
