DISASTER RISK REDUCTION


Conduct activities of community based DRR so that
Communities have increased capacity to prevent, prepare for
and mitigate disaster risk through locally appropriate DRR

strategies. It will also contribute to strengthening synergies


between community based and school based DRR
Formation of Village Disaster Management Committee
Work with Village Disaster Management Committees to come
up with
Co-ordinate with Sr. Officer DRR for effective implementation
of the CBDRR activities;
To work with the community for the roll-out of agreed project
activities
To assist identifying CB-DRR activities e.g. Early Warning,
