The Inner Smile
Increasing Chi through the Cultivation of Joy
A guide to the foundational practice of smiling to the organs to
promote deep relaxation and internal health
Presents exercises that dissolve the physical and mental tensions
that can cause energy blockages and unhealthy chi flow
Shows how to recognize illness at its inception on the organ level
and how to balance the emotions to heal it
The Inner Smile is a practice that focuses gratitude and joy on the
internal organs to resolve the physical and mental tensions that can
lead to illness. In Taoism negative emotions--anger, sadness,
depression, fear, and worry--are seen as low-grade energy that
causes chronic disease and steals our major life force by creating
energy blockages. Master Mantak Chia shows that the internal awareness produced by the simple
yet powerful Inner Smile meditation practice flushes the organs of poisonous negative energy that
may be blocking chi energy flow in order to nourish the entire body.
Just as a genuine outer smile transmits positive energy and has the power to warm and heal, an
inner smile produces a high grade of energy that promotes powerful internal healing, deep
relaxation, happiness, and longevity. Smiling to the organs and thanking them for the work they do
helps to reawaken the intelligence of the body, which, once activated, can dissipate emotional
imbalances and inner disharmony before serious illness manifests.

Six Healing Sounds

The Six Healing Sounds that keep the vital organs in optimal condition:
Presents vocalizations and accompanying postures that dissolve the tensions at the root of
unhealthy chi flow and organ malfunction
Shows how to release excess heat trapped around the organs and redistribute it to cooler
regions of the body to bring balance, health, and calmness to the entire system

Includes a 40-minute audio CD of practices for balancing

chi
Thousands of years ago Taoist masters discovered that a healthy
organ vibrates at a particular frequency. They found six sounds
with the correct frequencies to keep each organ in optimal
condition. To accompany these Six Healing Sounds, six postures
were developed to activate the acupuncture meridians, or energy
channels, of the corresponding organs
In The Six Healing Sounds Master Mantak Chia explains how the
pressures of modern life can cause excess heat to become trapped
around the organs, causing energy blockages and sickness. He
shows readers how the vibrations of the Six Healing Sounds and
their accompanying postures redistribute this excess heat to the
cooler regions of the body, thereby stimulating and balancing chi
energy and restoring the vital organs. Regular practice of the Six Healing Sounds promotes optimal
health for the organs, increased sexual pleasure, emotional balance, and the prevention of illness.

Cosmic Sounds
Gives the explanation and theory of the Six Universal Sounds and stepby-step Cosmic Sounds Practices including Lung Sound, Kidney
Sound, Liver Sound, Heart Sound, Spleen Sound, Triple Warmer Sound
and Daily Practices. 43 pages with over 40 color illustrations and
images.

Chi Self Massage

Energetic massage techniques that dispel negative emotions,
relieve stress, and strengthen the senses, internal organs, and
nervous system:
Shows how Chi Massage employs ones own internal
energy to promote rejuvenation
Presents Chi Massage techniques for every organ and
bodily system
Provides a daily practice routine that requires only 5 to 10
minutes to complete
The Western concept of massage primarily concerns muscle
manipulation. In the practice of Chi Massage, internal energy, or
Chi, is manipulated to strengthen and rejuvenate the sense organs-eyes, ears, nose, tongue, teeth, and skin--and the internal organs.
The Taoist techniques in this practice are more than 5,000 years old and, until very recently, were
closely guarded secrets passed down from master to student with each master often knowing only a
small part of the complete method.
In Chi Self-Massage Master Mantak Chia pieces together the entire system of Chi Massage into a
logical routine, revealing the methods used by Taoist masters to maintain their youthfulness. He
explains the energetic theory behind Chi Massage and how negative emotions affect the organs and
nervous system. By practicing the exercises outlined and following the daily routine that requires

only 5 to 10 minutes to complete, readers can strengthen their senses--most notably vision, hearing,
and taste--detoxify their internal organs and glands, help control negative emotions, relieve stress
and constipation, and improve their complexion, teeth and gums, and overall stamina.

Laughing Chi Kung

Through this process we can gain inner peace and happiness. Everyone
can also gain the ability not only to heal themselves, but others too.
Naturally, the first step is to be at peace and be happy with ourselves as
we work to accomplish our goals. Therefore, I have devised this
meditation, which becomes especially profound when its effect is
amplified by thousands of others in a Circle of Consciousness and
Awareness. It is the Laughing Chi Kung. It helps to understand the
principle of fusing the three minds. Western science now knows there
are three minds. The first mind is in the observing mind centered in the
brain. The second is called the conscious mind centered in the heart. The
third is the mind of awareness centered in the lower abdomen, that is, the
abdominal brain. The three minds combine to fuse together in the
abdomen, creating one mind. In Chinese this one mind is called Yi. The
Laughing Chi Kung Healing Meditation is a spiritual practice that takes around 15 to 30 minutes.
When people from all around the world link together at the same time greatly empowered. It can be
practiced easily even by those who have never worked with the Universal Tao practices.

Primordal Breath DVD

Breathing plays a fundamental role in the human metabolism. Taoists believe that when we are
young and life is simple, breathing is natural and the body naturally absorbs the energy, not only
from the food that we eat, but also from the Earth, the Sun, the Moon and the whole Universe. As
we grow older, the negative emotions and thoughts obstruct our energy channels and our breath
becomes shallow and inefficient. With a poor breathing, the body is unable to properly use the
energy from the food that we eat and this energy is stored in the body as fat.

In the present DVD, Master Mantak Chia teaches the

fundamental aspects of a proper breathing, according to the
Taoist principles of absorption, circulation and transformation
of the energy in the body. The main source of energy is the
Primordial Force, or the Wu Chi. Primordial Force is the
source of everything that exists and we are directly connected
to it. Our body is naturally capable of absorbing the
Primordial Force and transforming it into Chi, or life energy.
This capability is enhanced when we are aware of it. The
spinal cord, the heart, the eyes, the throat, the sexual center and the soles of the feet play a major
role in the process of breathing. Let Master Chia guide you and teach you simple and effective
exercises to enhance the proper function of each organ in this process. Learn how to breathe
naturally and re-learn the path to the major source of energy, bringing balance, health and harmony
to your life.

Six Directions Chi Kung

(Three Tan Tiens in Six Directions)
Gives the explanation and step-by-step of the Practices with
color illustrations on Warm Up Exercises, True Breathing
(Skin Breathing), Six Directions, Activating the Three Fires,
Opening the Three Tan Tiens and Opening the Microcosmic
Orbit.

Tao Yin
The Tao Yin exercises included in this book are all performed in
either lying or sitting positions. They provide unique benefits that
cannot be so readily achieved in standing or moving practices, such
as Iron Shirt Chi Kung or Tai Chi. Improved patterns of physical
alignment and movement will recondition the spine and refresh the
body by opening chi flow in the meridians. Tendons and psoas
muscles will be imbued with the power of elasticity, and the spine
becomes more flexible. Employing the dynamic principle of
'finding the straight in the curve' enables the practitioner to grow
and strengthen the tendons and to cultivate their elasticity.
Tao Yin exercises are moving meditations. Using the inner smile,
one trains the feeling and awareness brain, the Second Brain in the abdomen, to coordinate and

direct the actions in the body. They integrate the subtle power of the breath and mind in the process.
The practitioner learns to train and develop 'Yi,' the mind-eye-heart power. The practice cultivates
gentleness while developing strength. One learns to breathe consciously with the light in order to
release tensions and toxins and to energize tired or weak areas during rest between exercises. A
balanced Tao Yin session ends with 'Yin Meditation.' With the body deeply relaxed, the mind calm,
the tan tien full of chi and chi flowing in the meridians - one might experience the fullness of
delightful yang 'cell massage' or the refined yin state of inner 'embryonic breathing.' This
foundation practice supports all other practices.

Energy Balance through the Tao

(Tao Yin)
An introduction to the ancient Taoist exercise system of Tao Yin
Includes 45 fully illustrated exercises that promote
flexibility, strength, and balance in ones physical, mental,
and spiritual energy
Addresses the health needs of the musculoskeletal system
and the unique physical stresses of a modern urban
lifestyle
In the Western world, exercise focuses mainly on physical fitness
and developing muscular strength. In the East, exercise systems balance fitness practices for the
body, mind, and spirit. This balance is strongly emphasized in the Taoist system of Tao Yin, one of
the oldest and most diverse forms of exercise in China. Tao Yin focuses on creating balance
between internal and external energies and revitalizing the body, mind, and spirit with a
combination of strength, flexibility, and internal energy exercises. Its ultimate goal is for the
practitioner to become pure, responsive, and full of energy, like a child.
In Energy Balance through the Tao, Master Mantak Chia introduces 45 fully illustrated Tao Yin
exercises to Western readers. He explains the history behind the practice and its connections to
other complementary Chinese exercise forms, such as tai chi. In this book Chia focuses on the lying
and sitting positions of Tao Yin, which improve health and structural alignment and, once mastered,
strengthen movements and postures in standing positions. The benefits of these remarkably simple
exercises include harmonizing chi, developing strength and flexibility through tendon stretching,
relaxing the abdominal muscles and the diaphragm, releasing toxins through the breath, and training
the "second brain" in the lower abdomen to coordinate and direct these processes.

Stem Cell Chi Kung

More than 5000 years the Taoist Masters discovered that our
body has a marvelous regenerating, repairing & rebuilding
power. By Gentle and gradually applying hitting on the body
parts and vital organs, the old, sick and damaged cells will be

completely broken up and fall out. The body will then send its resources to repair them, but only
when damage occur. The bodies sends its own Stem Cells to repair and regenerate the skin, organs,
glands and all the body parts.
"Stem cells have been found in a wide variety of adult tissues including the brain, liver, pancreas,
and bone marrow. Already, researchers have coaxed stem cells from adult bone marrow into
becoming nerve cells that could treat conditions ranging from paralysis to Alzheimer's disease.
Stem cells extracted from the patient's own bone marrow are less likely to be rejected than neural
cells from foreign sources. [Journal of Neuroscience Research (July 31, 2000)]"
With this understanding, we can see that the old wisdom being confirmed by cutting edge science.

Art of Cosmic Vision

How to achieve perfect vision naturally through proven eye-training
methods:
Explains how vision problems are related to imbalances in
the internal organs
Provides Taoist and Ayurvedic practices for harmonizing the
liver and kidneys, the organs directly associated with eye
problems
In the West, problems with eyesight are treated separately from
overall health, usually with prescription glasses or contact lenses.
But Eastern systems of holistic healing view the eyes as mirrors of
physical health. Eye problems reflect problems with the internal
organs, most specifically the liver and kidneys. The Art of Cosmic
Vision offers Taoist healing sound exercises for strengthening the
liver and kidneys as well as seven internal Chi Kung exercises and Dao-Yin self-massage practices
for toning the organ meridians. It also provides extensive dietary recommendations, including a
complete Ayurvedic analysis of the three main nutritional body types.
The wide variety of eye-strengthening exercises in The Art of Cosmic Vision includes the Egyptian
Black Dot technique, the Taoist Long Swing technique, the Tai Chi Rocker Eye technique, and
relaxing Yoga Eye Palming techniques. Rather than viewing the ciliary muscle within the eye as the
only muscle responsible for focus, these exercises improve focus by training all of the muscles
surrounding the eyes. With attention to improved diet, physical exercise, and these proven eyetraining techniques, readers can restore their vision to vibrant health.

Emotional Wisdom
Daily Tools for Transforming Anger, Depression, and Fear
A groundbreaking book, Emotional Wisdom reveals powerful ancient
tools for transforming our painful emotions into happiness and health. Socalled negative emotions are valuable messages that let us know we are
out of balance. With compassion and humor, Taoist authors Mantak Chia
and Dena Saxer explain the messages that anger, depression, fear, worry,
and stress offer us. They present three easy-to-learn twenty-minute
internal energy practices, with helpful illustrations, to turn these
imbalances into harmony and joy. They provide unusual nutritional
advice for emotional healing and a Taoist First Aid section with proven
natural remedies for minor ailments such as insomnia, indigestion,
headaches, and overeating. Relevant quotes from the Tao Te Ching add
inspiration to this practical, life-changing book.

Transform Stress into Vitality

The Inner Smile * Six Healing Sounds
This book guides you through few basic, simple and effective
Taoist practices for transforming negative energy into positive;
removing the the obstacles in your energy field. More advanced
practice of transmutation of negative energy is covered in the
book Fusion of the Five Elements, however before you'd work
with that one, you'd have to learn Microcosmic Orbit first.
The first practice is called "inner smile". In essence this involves
focusing upon the smiling, happy, energy and directing it to
different parts of your body. As you relax your mind, emotions
and body into this smiling energy, any stress and tension you may
feel is bound to be released.
The next set of practices covered in this book are six healing
sounds. In Taoist tradition, specific emotions are associated with
different organs in your body and so are different sounds which help to clear any energetic obstacles
in these organs. Sounds, and accompaning movements are designed to clear and balance the energy
of the particular organ. Working with healing sounds also involves focusing upon the imagery (in
the simplest form a color) associated with the particular organ.
Five healing sounds are associated with organs in the body - heart, lungs, liver, kidneys and spleen.
Sixty healing sound is associated not with the organ, but with the triple warmed meridian. Working
with this sixth sound will deeply relax you and if you suffer from insomnia, it may also help you to
fall asleep.

Microcosmic Orbit
Gives the explanation of the Greater Heavenly Cycle and the
Smaller Heavenly Cycle (Governor Channel or and Functional
Channel) with the step-by-step of the Universal Cosmic Orbit
Meditation Preparations, Practices and Opening the Microcosmic
Orbit with the Daily Practice.

Cosmic Orbit
(Alchemy of Sexual Energy)
Taoist techniques for replenishing our internal energy with
universal cosmic energy
Shows how to transform excess sexual energy (Ching
Chi) into self-healing energy
Presents advanced Cosmic Healing Chi Kung practices,
which gather the limitless resources of Cosmic Chi for
healing
Explains how opening of the three tan tiens to the six
directions allows personal consciousness to connect
directly to higher sources of energy
Taoists consider our sexual energy to be the creative force that we can use to regenerate the bodys
internal energy, but we must learn how to harness excess sexual energy and transform it into chi, or
life-force energy. When we circulate the sexual energy in the Microcosmic Orbit--a continuous
energy loop that runs up the spine and down the front of the body--we transform it into self-healing
energy that can be stored in the organs and the three tan tiens: energy centers in the brain, the heart
center, and the lower abdomen. The Alchemy of Sexual Energy builds upon Microcosmic Orbit
practices discussed in Healing Light of the Tao.
The more we open the flow of our internal energy the more capable we are of connecting to the
cosmic energy that exists outside ourselves in the universe. By learning to open the three tan tiens to
the six directions, the Taoist practitioner combines mind power with extension of chi to draw
cosmic energy into the body. This energy, too, can be stored in the three tan tiens and used as
needed for healing. When we learn to flow in this way with the energy of the Tao, life ceases to be a
struggle.

Alchemy of Sexual Energy

(Sexual Alchemy) [Same as above under title Cosmic Orbit]
Awaken Healing Energy
This unique and comprehensive book reveals the Taoist secret
of circulating Chi, the generative life force, through the
acupuncture meridians of the body. Illustrated with detailed
diagrams that aid the development of a powerful energetic flow,
for psychological and spiritual health and balance.

Healing Light of the Tao

The guide to engaging and directing the three primordial forces of
Earth, Heaven, and Higher Self to achieve enlightenment and
immortality
Explains how to circulate the life force, or chi, by balancing
yang (male) and yin (female) currents of bioenergy
Includes an overview of the complete Taoist body/mind/spirit
system along with newly refined methods of activating the
life force
The sequel to the classic Awaken Healing Energy Through
the Tao
In 1983, Mantak Chia introduced the Microcosmic Orbit to the
West. Prior to that time, most of the Eastern energy practices
transmitted to the West were incomplete, dealing only with the
ascending yang/masculine channel, which shoots life-force energy up the spine. The Microcosmic
Orbit showed practitioners how to establish the descending yin/feminine channel of the life-force
energy loop. Within Taoist systems, cultivating feminine energy has always been seen as the key to
gaining balance and wholeness.
Healing Light of the Tao presents the more advanced methods of chi cultivation in the Microcosmic
Orbit, offering a full understanding of Taoist spiritual theory through its comprehensive overview of
the complete Taoist body/mind/spirit system. The book also includes more advanced meditation
methods for absorbing the higher frequencies of Earth Force, Cosmic Force, and Universal Force
(Heavenly chi) into the basic orbit. It establishes a spiritual science that not only emphasizes
practical benefits to health, sexual vitality, and emotional balance, but also shows how changes
made in the energy body can lead to physical rejuvenation that the Taoists called immortality.

Awaken Healing Light of the Tao

Included in this book are new spinal chi kung warmups to quickly
energize any meditation. The reader will also learn how to
combine sexual passion with a loving heart inside the body to
relieve sexual-emotional frustration and speed up spiritual growth.

Guided Sitting Meditation

Strengthening your foundation will benefit you in every step along the way.
The Guided Sitting Meditation is an intensive training in seven
stages specifically designed to support you in opening your
"MicroCosmic Orbit". This orbit is the main pathway in your body
for building and circulating original life force energy ("Chi"). Once
you have opened this pathway you are ready to deepen and
advance your Chi Kung practices.
QiGong will support you throughout your entire life, so it is worth
taking the time to go deep into each practice.
Guided Sitting Meditation is an energy-enhancing half-hour
meditation. Here you will learn how to circulate your internal energy (your life force or "Chi")
through Microcosmic Orbit, up your spine and down the front of your body. This practice is
considered to be the foundation of all higher Taoist meditations and exercises.
Experience:
Vibrant Energy
Balanced Emotions
Deeper Connection to the Universe
In the course of the meditation you will activate your internal energy, draw on the energy of the
Earth and the "Chi" of the air, harmonize your sexual energy with your heart energy, connect with
the energy of the stars and planets, and circulate all of this "Chi" through the major energy centers
of your body. Guided Sitting Meditation takes you right into the classroom with Master Mantak
Chia at his Tao Garden retreat center in Northern Thailand.

Guided Standing Meditation

Guided Standing Meditation is a full one-hour standing
meditation, in which you will orbit the healing light (your life
force energy or "chi") up your spine and down the front of
your body through specific energy pathways. It is considered
to be the foundation of all higher Taoist meditations and
practices. Master Mantak Chia guides you through all Seven
Stages of the Microcosmic Orbit Meditation. In the course of
the meditation you will activate your internal energy, draw on
the energy of the Earth and the chi of the air. You will
harmonize your sexual energy with your heart energy, connect with the energy of the stars and
planets, and circulate all this chi through the major energy centers up your spine and down the
front of your body.

World Link Meditation

Healing Yourself and Others
Gives the explanation and step-by-step of the practices
with the Three Minds, Three Fires, Sacred Fire Circle,
Visualization into Actualization, Affirmation Healing,
Manifestation, Problem Solving and Summary.

Healing Energy of Shared Consciousness

(World Link Meditation)
A Taoist Approach to Entering the Universal Mind
How to connect with universal energy for inner peace, happiness, and individual and global healing:
How to transform the energy around us into positive loving energy
How to perform the World Link meditation to unite with global consciousness

How to fuse the observing mind, the conscious mind, and

the mind of awareness
Western science now recognizes the three minds associated with
the three tan tiens of Taoism: the observing mind centered in the
brain, the conscious mind centered in the heart, and the mind of
awareness centered in the lower abdomen. By unifying the three
minds--what in Chinese is called Yi--we can transform the energy
around us into positive loving energy and be empowered to
manifest our goals and dreams. This can lead to a more balanced,
less negative way of life and offers a way to gain inner peace,
wholeness, and happiness as well as the ability to heal yourself and
others.
In The Healing Energy of Shared Consciousness, Master Mantak
Chia shows how to fuse the three minds and form the Protective Sacred Circle of Fire, which
creates a seal around us allowing in only good energy and intentions. He explains step-by-step how
to perform the World Link meditation to connect with global and universal energy for inner peace,
happiness, and healing. Accessible even for those who have never worked with the Universal
Healing Tao, this practice offers a way to unite people all over the world in a form of shared
consciousness that amplifies collective loving energy to benefit the world.

Iron Shirt Chi Kung Practices

Iron Shirt Chi Kung I - Rooting Power

An introduction to the ancient Kung Fu practice designed to unify
physical, mental, and spiritual health:
Describes the unique Iron Shirt air-packing techniques that
protect vital organs from injuries
Explains the rooting practice exercises necessary to stabilize
and center oneself
Includes guidelines for building an Iron Shirt Chi Kung
daily practice
Long before the advent of firearms, Iron Shirt Chi Kung, a form of
Kung Fu, built powerful bodies able to withstand hand-to-hand
combat. Even then, however, martial use was only one aspect of
Iron Shirt Chi Kung, and today its other aspects remain vitally
significant for anyone seeking better health, a sound mind, and
spiritual growth.
In Iron Shirt Chi Kung Master Mantak Chia introduces this ancient practice that strengthens the
internal organs, establishes roots to the earths energy, and unifies physical, mental, and spiritual
health. Through a unique system of breathing exercises, he demonstrates how to permanently pack

concentrated air into the connective tissues (the fasciae) surrounding vital organs, making them
nearly impervious to injuries--a great benefit to athletes and other performers. He shows readers
how once they root themselves in the earth they can direct its gravitational and healing power
throughout their bone structure. Additionally, Master Chia presents postural forms, muscle-tendon
meridians, and guidelines for developing a daily practice routine. After becoming rooted and
responsive, practitioners of Iron Shirt Chi Kung can then focus on higher spiritual work.

Tan Tien Chi Kung

A fundamental Taoist practice for enhancing and utilizing chi:
Includes breathing and movement exercises to promote
vitality and healing through the cultivation of chi in the
tan tien and perineum areas
Presents the foundational exercises that are essential
for more advanced practices such as Iron Shirt Chi
Kung and Cosmic Healing
Tan Tien Chi Kung is the art of cultivating and condensing chi
in the lower abdomen--the tan tien--the fundamental power
storehouse of the body. Known as the Ocean of Chi to the
ancient Taoists, this lower abdominal area holds the key to opening the body and the mind for the
free and continuous movement of chi. Tan Tien Chi Kung contains specific breathing and movement
exercises that develop the power of the chi stored in the body to increase vitality, strengthen organs,
and promote self-healing. Mantak Chia explains how these exercises also provide a safe and
effective method for receiving earth energy, which allows the practitioner to achieve balance
physically, mentally, and spiritually--all of which are essential for the more advanced practices of
Iron Shirt Chi Kung and Cosmic Healing.
It is our mind that directs and guides our chi, but if the mind and body are out of balance or under
stress, the mind cannot perform this function. The tan tien actually contains a large quantity of
neurotransmitters, making it a key source of body intelligence. It is for this reason the Taoists also
referred to Tan Tien Chi Kung as Second Brain Chi Kung and created exercises that would allow
practitioners to gain awareness of the tan tiens function to restore the mind-body balance that is
essential for spiritual growth and optimal well-being.

Healing Love

Healing Love for Women (Healing Love Through the Tao)

A new edition of the bestseller:
The first book to reveal in the West the Taoist techniques
that enable women to cultivate and enhance their sexual
energy
Reveals Taoist secrets for shortening menstruation, reducing
cramps, and compressing more chi into the ovaries for
greater sexual power
Teaches the practice of total body orgasm
For thousands of years the sexual principles and techniques
presented here were taught by Taoist masters in secret only to a
small number of people (sworn to silence), in the royal courts and
esoteric circles of China. This is the first book to make this ancient
knowledge available to the West.
The foundation of healing love is the cultivation, transformation, and circulation of sexual energy,
known as jing. Jing energy is creative, generative energy that is vital for the development of chi
(vital life-force energy) and shen (spiritual energy), which enables higher practices of spiritual
development. Jing is produced in the sexual organs, and it is energy women lose continually
through menstruation and child bearing. Mantak Chia teaches powerful techniques developed by
Taoist masters for the conservation of jing and how it is used to revitalize women's physical, mental,
and spiritual well-being. Among the many benefits conferred by these practices are a reduction in
the discomfort caused by menstruation and the ability to attain full-body orgasm.

internal organs:

flow
Includes illustrated exercises to relieve common ailments,
revitalize the organs, and enable readers to take charge of
their own health and well-being
Focuses on the navel center, where negative emotions,
stress, and illness accumulate
The techniques of Chi Nei Tsang evolved in Asia during an era
when few physicians were available and people had to know how to heal themselves. Many people
today have symptoms that modern medicine is not able to cure because a physical source for the
problem is not easily found. The energies of negative emotions, stress, and tension--all common in
modern life--and the weight of past illness accumulate in the abdominal center, causing energy
blockages and congestion. When this occurs, all vital functions stagnate and myriad problems arise.
By practicing the techniques of Chi Nei Tsang, this stagnation is removed and the vital organs
surrounding the navel center are detoxified and rejuvenated.
Master Chia teaches readers how to avoid absorbing negative energies from others and take full
charge of their health through the self-healing techniques of Chi Nei Tsang. He offers fully
illustrated exercises that show how to detoxify the internal organs and clear the energy (chi)
channels throughout the body. He also presents methods for balancing emotions, managing stress,
and observing the body in order to recognize, ameliorate, and prevent maladies before they become
a problem.

Long known by Taoist masters, the body has an innate ability to heal itself, an ability that is
hampered by toxins in the food we ingest and energy blockages that arise from illnesses and
obstacles in our lives. These blockages transform the bodys energy rivers into a polluted and
stagnant swamp--the root of degenerative disease as well as premature aging.
Revealing the detoxification and rejuvenation practices of the Taoist sages, Master Mantak Chia and
William U. Wei show how to reactivate your bodys self-healing abilities by gradually and safely
expelling accumulated toxins through fasting, mono diets, and cleansing the nine openings of the
body. Using the practices of chi self-massage and healing sounds along with natural recipes for
herbal tonics and cleansing flushes for each of the openings and their related organs, the authors
explain how to balance and purify the bodys internal environment through acid and alkaline foods,
urine therapy, colonic cleanses, dry skin brushing, ear candling, and energized water. Concluding

clean and flowing, preparing the body for higher level Taoist practices as well as enabling healing

Cosmic Tree Healing Chi Kung

Trees strongly root with the Earth, and the more rooted the tree,
the higher it can extend to Heaven. Trees stand very still,
absorbing the Earth's Energy and the Universal Force from the
Heavens. Trees and all plants have the ability to absorb the
light frequencies and transform them into food; in fact, they

depend on light for most of their nourishment. Trees are the largest and most spiritually advanced
plants on earth. They are constantly in meditation, and subtle energy is their natural language.
As your understanding of this language grows, you can begin to develop a relationship with them.
They can help you open your energy channels and cultivate calm, presence, and vitality. There are
certain methods to approaching, interacting with, retreating from, and absorbing energy of a tree.
By following specific steps you create a ritual of silent communion that both you and the tree can
understand, and so increase the potential for harmonious interaction.
