Linking verbs cant demonstrate but it shows that the subject exists.

TIP: If you want to know whether the word is used as an action verb or linking verb,
change the word into a be-verb. After you change it and its not the same as the original
sentence then its an action verb.

DEFINITION
PREDICATE NOMINATIVE is a noun or pronoun that appears with a linking verb and renames, identifies,
or explains the subject of a sentence.

PREDICATE ADJECTIVE is an adjective that appears with a linking verb and tells about the subject of the
sentence.
