Part A: Introduction
Challenge in a school nowadays is how to plant a seed called leadership among student.
Student in this new era are well equip with technologies, knowledge and mediums of
networking. They can excel in the field of academic studies and sports however; they are still
lack the aptitude to be a leader. A part of quote from Vince Lombardi, Leaders are made, they
are not born this shows that leaders are made throughout the process of learning, teaching and
observation as well as their life experience.
In this program, student are expose with team building, goal setting and two way
communication as part of process to be an engaged leader. They will have the opportunity to
explore concepts of leadership, improve their leadership skills in a creative, engaged way and
gain a better understanding of self and sensitivity to others.
Part B: Objective

Build leadership quality within self, among peers and in school or community.
To gain self-esteem within participants.
To change the perspective of participant about leadership.
To nurture a sense of responsibility in carrying out duties as a leader.

Ice-breaking
1st session: (9.00pm 9.45pm)
-Ka ching! Ka ching! Game

15 minute

Male student will represent the value of 10 cent and female


student will represent the value of 5 cent. They will group based
on total value given by the facilitator.
-Get-to-know-you

45 minute

Students will divide into 2 groups. They will line up (sideways) and
one of the groups will move one person at a time while both of the
group introduce themselves.
After that, 2 groups will combine to form a round shape. Each
person will call one name and they must switch position with the

person they call until the entire name has been call.
-Backup game (blow & boom)
2nd session: (9.45pm 10.30pm)

30 minute

-Student will form a group of 5 consists of 8 student in each group


form various school. They will come up with a group name and
trademark.
-Then they must tell the reason they choose the name and must
perform group trademark to the entire group.
-Member of each group will be given opportunity to become a
leader for each activity.

Leadership Class
1st session: (8.30 am 9.40 am)
Title: Who You Are
-A short video about self worth will be shown to the students. This

will help them to stop comparing them with others and start to
know who they are.
-A simple game where each student will receive a piece of paper.
Each student will write positive things that relate to him/she and
he/she must present what they have written to their group
member. The group member cannot laugh or boo to the person
presenting about themselves. They can only agree and clap for
their group member.
-Lastly a short video about Nick Vujicic will be shown to the
students.
2nd session: (9.55 am 11.05 am)

Title: Leader Among Peers


-Each group will do a different role play. Facilitator will give a
situation or a title for the role play. They will be given 15 minute to
discuss and then they will act in the role play. In the role play
student must present more than one solution/suggestion to solve
the problem in each role play. Each group will do the role play
simultaneously.
-After the role play, each group will discuss again the
solution/suggestion with the facilitator. This will help them to
engage in two-way communication their peers as well as with
facilitator.
-in this role play, student will learn how to empower their peers.
1) Be a good listener.
2) Support & motivate peers.
3rd session: (11.20 am 12.30 pm)
Title: Leader in School or Society
-

1.1 hours

-student will learn how to deal or response with their surroundings


Treasure Hunt
-The mission is to clear every checkpoint and obtain hint &
material need for the final checkpoint.
-The material they will be receiving at each check point is a piece
of a puzzle where they must complete the puzzle at the final

checkpoint.

2 hours

-Team that finish first will gain a prize as well as other teams.
-The rules of the game are:
1) Students cannot run and jump but walk.
2) Students cannot cross over the drainage.

Conclusion
Kem kepimpinan 2015 ini merupakan program yang dianjurkan oleh Naza Academy . Melalui
program ini pelajar dapat membentuk kembali sikap mereka agar lebih berdisplin ,berani
,berdikari dan bekerjasama selain dapat menanamkan rasa kesedaran diri dalam memahami
matlamat hidup serta menyedari tanggungjawab diri.
