1. If a person has HIV and TB co-infection it means that they
have both HIV infection and either latent TB or active TB
disease.

completely different infections.

naphtha(asfeedstock) was very high.
2. But, in recent times, naphtha prices have fallen.

Fertilizers Ltd. are not able to make use of the price fall
because their fate hangs in limbo.
4. Out of 33 plants in India, all but these 3 have switched to
natural gas as feedstock. These plants still do not have a
regular connectivity to gas.

1. Jau (barley) wassomething you fed to cows, buffaloes or
camels. Not anymore!Its grains are now malted and used for
making beer.

5000 and Royal Challenge procured ~41K tonnes of barley
majorly from Rajasthan.
3. What is Malting?Soaking barley in water for 25-26 hours to
allow germination. Activates certain amylase enzymes that
convert the raw starch in the grain into fermentable sugars.
4. Post germination,the resultant malt 80 tonnes out of every
100 tonnes of barley is what the breweries ferment into
alcohol by adding yeast.

4. It should be noted that Rhino census is conducted every
3years. The last census was carried out in 2012. It had
confirmed 2,290 rhinos in the park.

1. ISROs PSLV C-27 successfully launched Indian Regional

intended orbit.

Services, which is available to all users, and an encrypted
