Unit 10:

Art and the Deterioration of Reality

1. Create a believable hoax. You can use any method to create your hoax including
staging, photomanipulation, and montaging several photos together.
2. Use photomontage to create a surrealistic image of either your recurring nightmare or
a sweet dream. You must use at least three photographs for the final image, one of
which has to be your own.

SHOOTING ASSIGNMENT:
 What a Hoax: Collage or stage a photo to create a hoax
 Dreams, Journals and Conversations—combine at least three photographs to portray a
nightmare or a sweet dream.

Total number of photos required: 1 hoax photo, 1 surrealistic photomontage x 50 points


each = 100 total.
