ATP ANALYZER - post-processor for ATP

ATP Analyzer may be installed on Windows NT 4.0 SP3 or later,
on Windows 98, Windows 98SE or later, and on Windows 95 build
708 or later.
You may install ATP Analyzer at any location in your computer.
You must have full administrative access to the operating system
when installing ATP Analyzer. Installation by a user having less
than full administrative access may prevent the self-registration
of one or more support files required by the program.
Windows 98 (First Edition!) users should run DCOM98.EXE once before
installing ATP Analyzer the first time. DCOM98.EXE can be found
in the ..\ATP_Analyzer folder. Windows 98 SE, Windows NT 4.0 and
Windows 2000 already provides DCOM support, so running DCOM98.EXE
is unnecessary. Users of Windows 95 build 708 or later must install
DCOM95.EXE which is also provided in the ..\ATP_Analyzer folder.
If after completion of ATP Analyzer installation following error
message appears

That folder is invalid. Please make sure
the folder exists and its writable.

it is adviced to execute Mdac_typ.exe that is located in the
ATP Analyzer folder (after installation) on your PC.
Note! You may shorten the download time.
There has not been a change in support files since
the start of version 3, so anyone upgrading to 3.09 from an earlier
version 3.XX should be able to simply replace the older ATPAnalyzer.exe
file with the 3.09 version. The latest .exe file is included in the
ATPAnalyzer309EXE.zip.
After successfully running an ATPDraw case, such as example case
EXA_1.ADP, through ATP you may look at the results using ATP Analyzer.
Start ATP Analyzer, click File, New, PL4 Import Main Case. An "Open"
dialog window will appear. If you installed ATPDraw in C:\ATPDraw
then go to the C:\ATPDraw\Atp folder. If you just ran EXA_1.ATP,
then click on the EXA_1.pl4 file you should see in the listbox,
then click the Open button. Select signals in the Analog Signals
dialog box, then chose Charts | Multiple Charts in the main
Analyzer window.
The PL4 file may be ASCII type or C-like in several variations
that include IEEE 32 bit standard data format and DEC VAX 32 bit
data format. ATP Analyzer reads data from the file but the PL4 file
itself is never changed regardless of how data is processed.
Be careful when using the new PL4 file format options (like Pisa)
of ATP. It might be incompatible with the present version of the
Analyzer.
ATP Analyzer is generally self guiding, but you can find a

description of the features in the file ATPAnalyzer.PDF.

The ATP Analyzer is royalte free. The proprietary rights of the
program belong to the Bonneville Power Administration USA, the
company who financed the program development. EEUG was allowed
to distribute ATP Analyzer to its members on the annual CD-ROM
and make it available to licensed ATP users via this secure WWW
site with the permission of Mr. James L. Hall.
