A Word from Your Editors

Hello Key Clubbers!

Can you believe that the year is almost over?! Weve
made so many great memories this year, and we hope that
youve done the same! Its a bittersweet time for our seniors
as they get ready to move on to the next chapter in their
lives, and an exciting time for all of us as we get ready to
begin another awesome year of Key Club!
DCON feels like it was just yesterday! We had a lot of
key clubbers attend this year, and we hope you guys had a
great time and continue to go back in the future! Its a great
way to interact with other clubs and get new and innovative
ideas for our club. Those of you that didnt go this year should
definitely consider going next year!
Our banquet is coming up right around the corner! We
encourage ALL of you to come! We always have a great time
at our banquets, so bring friends! Here we will be announcing
next years officer board, honoring our seniors, and having a
great time together with food and dancing! We cant wait to
see all of your beautiful faces there!

Good-bye Key Club! I am so glad that I found such a great organization centered around
great people helping other great people (in need). I have had the time of my life working
to keep this club going in the right direction and to help all of us get to experience even
greater happiness from helping the community around us that is often overlooked. I hope
you guys will all graduate with the realization that through sacrificing your time to serve,
you can make a difference in the world.

Dear Key Club,

Its a bittersweet thing that I have to face with leaving the wonderful CyRidge Key Club. Thank you, members, for having the patience to deal with us
secretaries and letting us build our leadership skills while helping you. Its been a
great 4 years here doing service with you guys and I wish you the best in the future!

You guys are so awesome! I am so honored to be a part of such an amazing, selfless club,
and to participate these past four years. Thank you so much for having me as your editor
last year and your project coordinator this year, and I can only hope that I have served you
to the best of my abilities. This organization has been such a big part of my high school
experience, and Im so glad that I decided to stop by the booth my freshman year and join
in on all the fun. Its extremely sad to think that Im leaving my Key Club family in a few
short months, but I hope that you guys continue to grow and do great things! I will miss
each and every single one of you guys very much and all of this memories that I have made
in Key Club. Please continue to encourage more people to take part in this wonderful, lifechanging organization, because I want them to have the amazing experience that I did.

My past few years with Key Club have really changed my high school experience.
I got to know some of my closest friends through volunteering with this
organization. After we leave, I hope that Key Club continues to be a group where
friendships are made as service is given.

KEY CLUBBERS! Its been an amazing time serving yall as Public Relations officer. Key
Club has made a major impact on my life, welcoming me with open arms and letting me
become such an energetic leader. From Houston Food Bank events to DCON, every Key
Club memory will forever hold a special part in my heart. Cant believe this year is coming to
an end with such a dedicated group of officers and members! If theres one thing I would ask
for: please dont ever lose your passion to benefit your community and to reach out to others
in need!

I honestly cannot thank this club enough for being such an inspiring and
uplifting group! Ive been a member since my freshman year and its crazy to think
my four years with you guys are over! Im so thankful for all the memories Ive
made and the friendships Ive built, and for everyone in this club working
together to change the world! You guys are awesome, and I love yall!

Being in Key Club the past 4 years and being an officer for the last 2 has really taught me
about true meaning of volunteering. It sounds really corny and predictable, but it's true. It's
the most involved I've ever been in the community and I have had an amazing time with my
friends and meeting new people. Being on the officer board with really close friends of
mine and others that I've gotten to know has really made my year memorable. I will
continue to volunteer when I get to college because volunteering doesn't stop when I leave
Key Club next year.

District Convention 2015

On April 9th, 18 of our wonderful members traveled with our fellow

Key Clubbers from Jersey Village to attend the 66th Annual District
Convention! Members were able to attend welcoming activities,
forums, luncheons, awards ceremony, and the Governors Ball!
Thank you to all who attended this memorable experience and
hope you were inspired to continue on our service adventure!
