Steps:
1.Teacher will enter the class and greet students
2.Teacher will ask few question based on the movie Phantom Of the opera they watch in last
weeks class.
3.Teacher will use the slide show to teach all the three main characters in the movie and
teacher ask students to write down about the characters while they listening to teachers
explanation.
4.Then teacher will ask students question to check whether they have understood about the
characters before she move on to practise stage.
5.Teacher will distribute a worksheet on the three main characters and teacher instruct the
students to write a short description in each character using their notes .
6.Once done teacher will use her slides to display all her answer and discuss the answer with
the students.
7.Teacher ask students to sit in a group of five and then teacher will distribute a jumbled up
characteristics of all the three main character in the movie and students need to find out and
write all the characteristics of the characters using the manila card given.
8.Teacher give students about 5 minutes to complete the task and once done teacher call out
each group to presents their answer to the whole class and teacher will correct their answers
at the end of the presentation.
9. Teacher will call out students randomly and give a name of a character in the movie and
the student need to give two relevant characteristic of the character.
10.Teacher will reward students who able to remember and answer her questions correctly.

worked hard at her singing because she wanted to be the best opera singer. Christine managed to sing
beautifully under the guidance of Erik, her angel of music.

five days. Although she was scared by his terrible face, she felt sorry for him. At his house, Erik
confessed his love to Christine and wanted Christines love in return.

He was twenty one years old. He had blue eyes, black hair and a wonderful smile.
Many girls in Paris were in love with him.

Raoul and Christine fell in love with each other when they first met in Brittany. Then, Raoul lost
contact with Christine. When they met again four years later in Paris, Raoul and Christine were still in
love with one another.
DETERMINED
Raouls older brother, Philippe, the Comte de Chagny, did not like Raoul having a serious relationship
with Christine. This is because Christine was only an opera singer and they knew nothing about her
family. However, Raoul refused to listen to him. Therefore, he was determined to renew his
relationship with Christine, the only love of his life.

Steps:
1.Teacher enter the class and greet students
2. .Then Teacher will stick few riddles on the board call students randomly and read out a
riddle and ask them to guess.
3. Then teacher will paste a big poem Chart on the board and ask students to guess
Eg what is this poem about?
-what comes first into your mind if think about nature.
4. Once done listening to students answer teacher will give feedback and correct their
mistake.Teacher will introduce the poem I wonder for the lesson of the day.
5. Teacher will play a background music and recite the poem I wonder with full of
expression and teacher will ask students to recite the poem along with the music played.
6.Then techer will explain the meaning of the poem and teach the literacy devices using the
poem.
7.Once done teacher will distribute MCQ questions based on the literacy devices and instruct
them to answer all the questions individually.Once done teacher will give all the correct
answers and explain the answers.
8. Teacher ask students to be four in a group..Then teacher will distributes a worksheet with
the list of literary devices and instruct students that they need to refer to the literary devices
and they need to use their creative skill to come out with a simple poem and make sure all the
5 literary device is given in the poem based on students creativity.
9.Once done teacher call out each group to recite their poem to whole class with the
background music.Once done with all the groups teacher will reward the best 3 groups.
10.Teacher will sum up the lesson by asking question at students about the literacy
devices.then teacher will give a worksheet to students as homework.
