Tout comme les signaux continus, les signaux discrets peuvent etre
periodiques.
Un signal discret periodique se rep`ete `a tous les N echantillons, de
sorte que :
x[n] = x[n kN ] k = 1, 2, 3, . . .
La periode N est le plus petit nombre dechantillons qui se rep`etent.
La periode est toujours un entier.

Quarrive-til si la frequence dechantillonnage nest pas assez elevee ?
Il y a repliement : les frequences plus elevees que 0.5fs apparaissent
alors comme des frequences plus faibles.
Pour eviter le repliement, il faut que les frequences dun signal soient
contenues dans lintervalle :
0.5fs < f < 0.5fs
Les frequences plus elevees apparatront comme des signaux de
frequence :

Exemple
Soit un syst`eme qui echantillonne `a 200Hz. Pour des entrees `a 180Hz et
220Hz, y aura-til du repliement ? Si oui, quelle est la frequence apparente ?
Dans les 2 cas, f > 0.5fs . Pour 180Hz :
fa = 180 M (200) < 0.5(200) M = 1 fa = 20 Hz
Cest 20Hz, dephase de 180.
Pour 220Hz :
fa = 220 M (200) < 0.5(200) M = 1 fa = 20 Hz

Reconstruction
Une methode pour reconstruire des pulses plus fid`element avec les
trois pulses non ideaux est de prendre plus dechantillons que
necessaire.
Plus le nombre dechantillons par periode augmente, plus la
reconstruction est fid`ele.
Il est souvent plus facile de prendre plus dechantillons et de
reconstruire avec un pulse triangulaire que dessayer de faire la
reconstruction avec un sinc.
