Homosexuality debate

Utilitarianism states that morality should be guided by actions. If an

individuals actions are bring good results and limits bad results then that
action is said to be right. Homosexuality goes against the definition of
utilitarianism even though being a homosexual can make an individual happy
it can also bring about a wide range of bad results. (e.g. STDs, decline in
population)
Society will question homosexuals of course in the decline in population. You
cannot produce children with 2 people of the same gender only heterosexuals
can do such a thing. What if these same homosexuals decide later in life that
they want to become a parent and have children with their homosexual
partner? This would result in medical procedures like insemination or maybe
having a surrogate mother. How would you feel if you wanted children but
you werent meant to bear a child (man) or you partner cannot provide you
with sperm to fertilize your ovum. The child produced is not physically yours
is does not have your traits or maybe none of your partners and will take one
of either your partner or your traits and then have the others from the
surrogate mother or sperm donor.
Homosexuality causes stigmas because of how judgmental the human race is.
For e.g. if there was a community of 30 people of different races and out of
that 30, 10 of them where homosexuals people outside of that community
would assume all or most of the people from that community are gay.
Homosexuality goes against the laws of the Lord. We are supposed to keep
the Lords commands and obey his word, The Bible.
Examples of Biblical Verses
"If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have
committed an abomination." (Leviticus20:13).

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of
God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,
nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor
drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
(1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
God blessed them; and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill
the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of
the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.
(Gen1:28)
Most people would like to get married and be with their spouses in
matrimony. Marriage is the joining of two people, woman and man, to form
one. This process of marriage was blessed by God and is holy. Marriage
between same sex partners would weaken the definition and values of
marriage.
People are to set good examples for the upbringing of children in the society.
We were brought among the earth to procreate. Homosexual relationships can
cause disturbance in the mind and eyes of a child. If you are brought up
seeing your mother and father and you know this is right seeing a man and a
man or a woman and woman can pose questions to society
Homosexuality can weaken the values of what a traditional family should be
like(mother, father and children)
