TIPS FOR PRINTING

For best results, dont print all of these pages at once! You should save this file to your computer so
you can revisit at your convenience to print only the pages you need.

9The latest version of Adobe Acrobat is recommended. You may have more than one version on
your computer. Uninstall the old version(s) if you are having problems.
9Adobe Acrobat Reader may have the option Fit to Page checked by default. This may or may
not result in a better printout. Experiment with this to get the best results.
9If you have problems printing, try checking the option Print as Image.

9If the pages are printing without the images, your computer may be low on memory or resources.
This is a common problem associated with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Restart your computer and
try printing again. Also try sending fewer pages to the printer at a time. If you dont have the most
current version of Acrobat, you may also experience problems.

How to Assemble Student Mini-Books:

To produce books for several students, it is recommended that you make double-sided photocopies of
the pages after printing. To assemble, just cut along the line on each page, order the pages, and
staple. I have found it works best to use a paper cutter to cut many pages at once, and pass those out
to students. (I can usually get the paper cutting done while Im waiting for the other copies to run
quick and easy!) Most kids will be able to order the pages with minimal assistance. Double-sided
photocopies require less paper per book and less cutting! You can, however, photocopy the pages
onto separate pieces of paper, if you prefer.
