Learning Targets:
I can reflect upon and write about what makes me a distinct person (image

techniques to write a series of poems that reflects an aspect of your
personality. These poems will be collected in an anthology that will be
presented to the class and possibly to others.
Method:
1. Choose a theme for your poetry. Think about an activity you enjoy, a
hobby that you enjoy, a person that is important to you, a family tradition
anything that interests you and makes up a big part of your life and who you
are as a person.
2. Throughout the unit you will write the following types of poems about
your theme.
