Purpose
This document describes how you can find the Firmware versions for
particular Quantum products. For your convenience, all products are
presented alphabetically. It is useful for customers and service engineers
who need to find the current Firmware version to open a Service Request
or begin diagnosing a problem.

Quantum Products
This chapter describes how to find the firmware and software levels for
Quantum hardware and software products. The following provides an
alphabetical list of Quantum products.

AMASS
Use the following method to find the latest software version for AMASS.
From the command line, type: /usr/amass/bin/amassstat -v
The system response resembles the following:
5.3.3 (rev 37)
The response indicates that software version 5.3.3 revision 37 is running
on this system.

There are no remote identification options, no physical listings, and no
paths from the Operator Panel for finding the library and drive firmware
versions. To obtain this information, contact Quantum service.

DAT 240/432/864
This topic describes how to find the firmware level of a DAT 240/432/
864 autoloader.
Use this procedure to access the LCD display.
1 Make sure there is no magazine installed in the autoloader.
2 Press and hold the Select button for five seconds.
Data Manager
Use the following method to find the latest software version for Data
Manager.
From the command line, type: /etc/dm/usr/utils/dm_version
The system response resembles the following:

DPM5500
Use the following method to find the latest software version for the
DPM5500.
1 On the host computer, open the Internet browser software.
2 In the Address field, type https://IPaddress/where IPaddress is the IP
address for the DX-Series system.
Note:
This IP address uses https, not the common http and there is
also a special port (8098) that must be used. This address must
be used every time the web pages are accessed.
4 Click the System Configuration menu option (third from the left) at
the top of the screen.
The System Configuration screen displays.

check the Firmware Rev: field to find the current firmware level
(04.00.69).

Logon the Web Administration page and see the library firmware
version under the Loader Information list (Firmware version 0.164)
and the drive firmware version under the Driver Information list
(Firmware version =0201D0000) as in figure 2 on page 14.

The library firmware version displays (for example, 0201D0000).

Use this procedure to display the Autoloader, SCSI Controller and the
Autoloader Robotics Controller, which are all the same firmware version.
The revision information is displayed on the bottom line of the LCD
display in the following sequence: Drive, Autoloader, SCSI Controller,
and Autoloader Robotics Controller.
1 From the Home Screen or Main Menu, press + or - until Information
appears on the top line of the LCD screen.
2 Press Enter to access the available options.
3 Press + or - until the Firmware Rev message appears on the LCD
screen.
The LCD screen displays the revision the firmware currently
installed within the autoloader.

Logon the Remote Management Unit (RMU). The library firmware
version is the fourth item (Controller Firmware Revision 0 20) in the
Autoloader Information column as in figure 5. To access the library
firmware version from any page of the RMU, click Information and then
Autoloader.

firmware version is the fifth item (Firmware Revision 1E1E) in the Drive
Information column as in figure 6 on page 19.

Use the following method to find the latest software version for FileServ.
From the command line, type: fsversion
The system response resembles the following:

which indicates that the current FileServ software version in
4.1.8.

GoVault
GoVault Remote Identification
Use this procedure from the GoVault User Interface on your Windows
computer desktop to find the firmware (Revision) level. Click My
Computer on your desktop.
1 From the My Computer screen, right-click the drive listed
Removable Disk.
The GoVault pop-up menu displays.
2 From the GoVault pop-up menu, click Properties.

LTO-2 Loader
This topic describes how to find the firmware level of an LTO-2 Loader.
Use this procedure to access the firmware level from the Operator Panel.
From any menu, you can use the Cancel button to cancel the last action
and return to the previous menu item.
1 Access the Information menu option by pressing Enter until that
menu option appears.
2 Use the Previous and Next buttons to navigate through the menu
items until you access the Firmware revisions menu.
3 Record the firmware level (Firmware revision) from the Firmware
revisions menu.

This topic describes how to find the product firmware version for M1500,
M1800, and the M2500 libraries.

This procedure describes how to find the library firmware level on an MSeries library by using the Quantum Prism Management Card interface.
1 On the host computer, open the Internet browser software.
2 In the Address field, type https://IPaddress/ where IPaddress is the IP
address for the Prism Web GUI to your M-Series library. This
example uses an M2500 library.

You can access the version numbers for a Pathlight VX through the
Pathlight VX User Interface. This procedure describes how you can find
this information.

Use this procedure to find the current firmware version from the PX50x
remote interface.
This procedure describes how to find the library firmware level on a
PS2000, PS3000, PS4000 or PS7000 library by using the Quantum Prism
Management Card interface.

address for the Prism Web GUI to your PX502, PX506, or PX510

Management GUI.

Use this procedure to find the SNC firmware version for your Scalar 100

2 If not already logged in, enter your login name (by default, admin)

Use the following method to find the loaded firmware version for
ValueLoader.
1 From the Home screen or main menu, click [+] or [-] until
Information appears on the top line of the LCD screen.
2 Click Enter to access the available options.
3 Click [+] or [-] until Firmware Rev appears on the LCD screen.
The LCD screen displays the revision of the firmware currently
installed in the ValueLoader.
4 Click Cancel when finished.
