Duties/Training Included: Pro-act training, CPS, Educating Clients with
Emotional and developmental disabilities in Independent Living Skills.

Lead Residential Counselor
Duties/Training Included: Assisting special needs clients with daily living
skills, dorm organization and maintenance, and teach them healthy
relationship building in a safe environment. Assist with helping them to
achieve their therapy and treatment goals. Supervise and maintain staff and
client relationships. I also assigned duties, chores, and other activities for
both clients and staff. Maintained compliance with CAL OSHA and licensing.

treatment program. Assist clients in daily tasks and moving towards treatment

providing supervision and support for SED (Severely Emotionally Disturbed)
youth in a residential treatment facility. Duties included record keeping,
dispensing of psychotropic medications, goal planning, and assisting youth to
learn relationship building skills, self esteem, and healthy behaviors.
Position required interaction with other staff, Probation officers, Social
Workers, and Therapists. I assisted with their daily routine, chores, medical
appointment, court dates and off grounds therapy.

ACTIVITIES:
Reading, swimming, horseback riding, working towards my educational
goals, attending CTU currently, working toward my BS in Criminal Justice
Program, and spending time with my granddaughter.
