Saboteur of HinduismAnant Rambachan exposed, send him a message

A storm of criticism and rejection is being launched against the formerly respected Hindu scholar
Anant Rambachan by Hindus from all across the world. Emails, Facebook and Twitter postings
are coming fast since Rambachan was exposed by researcher/author Rajiv Malhotra as a sepoy
promoting the cancer of Neo Hinduism.
This month Hindus are even more concerned, as Rambachan is a leading speaker on behalf of
Hindus behind a first ever Hindu Catholic Dialogue to be held on May 23rd at the Durga Temple
in Fairfax,VA in the United States. (See details below.)
Rambachan, professor of religion at the Christian oriented St Olafs University in Minnesota, is
the pet Hindu for the Vatican, and has been busy with inter-religious conferences with Christian
groups who are no doubt happy to hear his Neo Hinduism pitch. And what is that Neo Hinduism
thesis? It says plainly that modern Hinduism is an artificial creation without roots in Hindu
tradition, made up by Vivekanand using western Christian concepts. It also says that ancient
Hinduism did not have any integrity and unity either, and was nothing more a jumble of
conflicting ideas. In short, old and new Hinduism are both bogus. This is the view that
Rambachan has been quietly pushing for two decades, something which the Christians really
love.
For evidence see Rajivs book chapter on Rambachan, Rambachans reply and Rajivs response
to Rambachan at
https://www.scribd.com//Rajiv-Malhotra-on-Anant-Rambachan-.
If you believe the criticism of Rambachan has any validity, these questions arise:
Do you trust Rambachan to represent Hinduism at this dialogue?
Do you feel Rambachan is representing you or any Hindu group at this dialogue?
Do you see any value in a dialogue with Catholics who continue to see us Hindus as pagans and
idol worshippers who can never enter the Christian heaven or get salvation?
If your answer is no to any or all of these questions, why not send a message to Rambachan and
give him your opinion? Simply repost this message to your Hindu Facebook friends, and post it
on any Hindu sites you come across for a start. A Twitter posting is coming up immediately and
you can retweet it at will.
Next, you can send a simple email to Rambachan to let him know directly how you feel. Do it
today!. This is how the email could be set up.
Subject: Your choice, or something along the lines of I dont trust Rambachan, Rambachan
doesnt represent this Hindu, A sepoy cannot represent Hindus, I want no part of Rambachan and
his Neo Hinduism etc

To: Main recipient is Rambachan himself, but copied to as many as we could get of the Durga
Temple as host, the other Hindu speakers taking part, the Catholic speakers, the Hindu
sponsoring groups, the Catholic groups and to me Ram Jagessar (so we can keep a check on how
many of our group responded.) Just copy and paste this list in your To: box.
rambacha@stolaf.edu,fclooney@hds.harvard.edu,ssvt@ssvt.org,patelvipulk@gmail.com,santgup
tava@gmail.com,ram.jagessar@gmail.com
Message: Address him as Professor Rambachan or Sri Rambachan and just tell him if you trust
him to represent Hindus at the dialogue, if you trust him personally, what you think of his Neo
Hinduism thesis, if you trust the Catholics at this dialogue, if you feel this May 23 dialogue is of
any value to Hindus. And stop there. No discussion, no long arguments, no abuse, no bad
language, no threats. You are just a Hindu giving your opinion on a matter of public interest,
which is your right. Dont hide behind your email ID, but put your name at the end, and possibly
your city or area of residence- just so he will know these emails are coming from all over the
world, and are being sent to people who are supporting him. You are not trying to convince
Rambachan of anything (useless anyway), but letting him and others know that his free ride on
the backs of Hindus is over.
And that is all there is to it, friends. Flood the Fecebook and Twitter worlds with the
message.Send that email today. Anybody with a computer can do it. You want to do something
to stop the leading spreader of that cancer of Neo Hinduism that is eating our dharma from
within? This is your chance. Lets give Rambachan a message he will never forget.
Ram Jagessar (ram.jagessar@gmail.com)
