you choose to work with us:
An initial meeting with a GATE CONSULT student-intake specialist either by coming to our office or by email
to gather information from you to determine your overall goals and needs and what type of school you may be
interested in. Once it is determined that you are qualified.

A second, follow-on meeting with a GATE CONSULT counselor to begin to discuss possible schools and
locations with you and to analyze your academic performance, personal/family goals and your financial
situation in more detail.
As a result of this second meeting, the GATE CONSULT counselor will perform research on specific
schools for you and respond to you with academic, fee, scholarship and other information to help you
make your decision.
An additional meeting with the GATE CONSULT counselor to discuss the information provided to you,
ask additional questions and finalize your choice of schools that you wish to apply to.
Assistance in filling out school application forms and other necessary documentation.
Updates from school officials on any deadlines, key events or other information to be aware of.
Intensive preparation for the U.S. F-1 visa interview this includes practice interviews in English, tips
and strategies on how to succeed and examples of the types of questions that will be asked.
GATE CONSULT will work with you to manage the entire paperwork process including document
translation and verification and can assist in sending key documents/applications for you to the United
States if needed.
Pre-departure orientation and guidance in NIGERIA and continued support from the GATE CONSULT
Partner institutions in the USA.
Students and parents are also always welcome to come to the GATE CONSULT office to ask any questions
about Study in USA and speak with one of our staff members about any issues or questions that may arise in
the application process. We are always here to help you!
Admission processing/Wait time Varies by Universities. Normally, when an applicant submits all required
document and application file is complete; it takes 1 week to 8 weeks for admission decision be made. This
Varies by institution.
Note*** Admissions are into: Spring Semester (January), Summer Semester (May/June) and Fall Semester
(August). Just about 5 percent of universities accept internationals for the Summer Semester.

SCHOLARSHIPS
To Be Awarded Scholarship into USA Universities, All grades obtained from WAEC including SS1-SS3 academic works are put into
calculation of a GPA (Grade Point Average).
The minimum GPA required to study in USA Universities is 2.0 on a 4.0 Scale depending on the School and course of study (Few may
require the minimum 5 credit). GPA requirement varies by institutions, it goes from 2.0, 2.25, 2.50, 2.75, and 3.0 up to 4.0
Each universitys policy is different, but the typical undergraduate scholarship amount is 25% to 100% Tuition. Most undergraduate
scholarships are available to student who meets the universitys requirements for admission. Some undergraduate scholarships are
predicated upon each students academic achievements.
Some Universities Offer some kind of scholarship to outstanding student whos GPA when Calculated is from 3.0 and above on a 4.0
scale this varies by institutions too.
Some USE the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) or ACT scores to award up to Full tuition scholarship to incoming Undergraduate Fresh
man.

GRADUATES SCHOLARSHIP
Graduate scholarships exist, but they are few in number and low in amount. There are no full scholarships available for graduate
students. Few Institution Issue Graduate Scholarships to incoming graduate student with outstanding GPA and GRE (Graduate Record
Examination) in form of Nonresident tuition waiver.
Further opportunities available for graduate Students are in form of Graduate/Teaching Assistance ship. These are awarded to
Graduate students who after a semester have exhibited their level of intelligent by getting good grades from their first semester
Results. These Students get up to full tuition waiver and are given some kind of Stipend.
Option 1
For this Option, Our Charges of $400 covers admission application fee to a USA University and our Consultation service charge. Then
we will give you a step by step approach and guidance from university acceptance to visa interview and visa appointment booking.
Option 2: For This option, Our Charges $1000 Covers the following.
* Admission application fee to university
* Cost of DHL/UPS/FEDEX to send documents to University Applied to.
* Cost of WAEC/NECO confirmation of result sent directly from examination body to USA University. This can be done only at the
WAEC headquarters Lagos and/or NECO headquarters at Minna Niger State. The fees with this includes, Exam's body official
confirmation fee, DHL/FEDEX/UPS Fee.
*Cost of DHL/UPS/FEDEX to send admission Packets when accepted into a university
* Our Consultation Service charge.
* Any other incidental cost that may arise in the process of the aforementioned Process.
