Lesson summary:
This lesson focuses on teaching adjectives. Teacher begins the lesson by asking pupils random questions about the weathers in the
world that they know and also which weather they would love to have the most. Teacher shows a presentation on slide about a letter
from a friend in America who are having different weathers in her country. The teacher highlighted the adjectives in her letter that
describing the weathers in America and identifies the meaning together with the pupils. During practice stage, teacher gives word
cards to everyone in the class. Three of the pupils/volunteers will hold a bigger word cards compare to the others which are weather
in Malaysia (hot, cloudy, wet) and stand in front of the classroom. Meanwhile, the other pupils with adjective word cards must gather
with their correct weathers to describe the weather in front. Each and everyone of them must spell the adjectives and pronounce it
correctly. For the production stage, teacher provides the pupils with a box that contains written adjectives (include other few
adjectives that they did not learned on that day to test their knowledge.) in small folded papers which related with the weathers that
they have learned today. The pupils have to work in pairs to act out in front of the classroom after they picked one of the adjectives
inside the box. Meanwhile, the other pupils have to guess the adjective by observing their friends acting in front of the classroom.
Finally, teacher asks the pupils again about what weather they are having in Malaysia and what adjectives that they have learned.
