among students. With this transport facilities, students will be able to go to campus easily.
Furthermore, public transport can reduce risk of getting involve with accident and can prevent
traffic congestion. So, there will be no wonder if the students like to take a public transport rather
than another transport.
In University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), there are three companies that
provide buses service for the students which are Etika Delta, Sikun Jaya and UTHM itself.
According to UTHM`s students there are many problems that they face with this three companies
such as the bus are not following the schedule that have been provided. For examples, the bus are
not on time, always come late and sometimes, there is no bus during the peak hours. Because of
this problem, bus has become too crowded with the students. Moreover, the condition of the bus
are really poor and bad. Students also experience bus breakdown when they are going to the
class or campus.
The driver attitude also contributes to this problem. Because of this problem, the bus will
come late and the students are not satisfied with the quality of bus services.

found that students are facing a lot of problems with the bus system. Students always come to the
class late and lecturers seem do not want to accept any excuses related to the bus. It is important
for us, as students to get to the class on time to avoid them from missed anything during lecture.
Besides, students reported that the driver always exceed the speed limit. They drive the bus
hazardously. About the condition of the bus, some said that the air condition is not function well
and also the seat is not comfortable since some seats are not safe to sit. Thus, there is a need to
determine students problem towards UTHMs shuttle buses.

6.0 METHODOLOGY
Methodologies used during collecting data are making an observation,
distribute the questionnaires and conduct interview session.
a. Respondents
i. Students
Based on our research, we have chosen 60 students form 3
different residential college which is from Taman Universiti, Tun
Dr. Ismail and Perwira residential college. We had randomly
chosen 20 students by each residential college and consist 10 of
them female and 10 of them from male.
ii. Bus driver
We had chosen 5 of bus driver include male and female
and randomly choose from 2 different bus company which is
Etika Delta and Sikun Jaya.
b. i) Questionnaire
From this research, we have chosen questionnaire as our
method to find the solution and opinion from the students and
bus driver. Our questionnaire consist of 10 questions and divide
by 4 sections. Section A will be answer based from respondent
background, Section B,C and D will be answer by respondents
refer to our objectives.

ii) Interview
We had create 5 questions for bus driver to answer
according to the quality of bus services. During the interview
session, we will invite the bus driver to the nearest caf or
restaurant during their break time to answer our question.
c. Procedure
i. Survey
We had divide our task which is half of our group will
conduct survey to find students to complete our questionnaire.
This survey also will conduct during our leisure time in 3 different
residential college.
ii. Interview
Interview session will conduct by the other half of our
group to find bus driver from Etika Delta and Sikun Jaya during
their break time and it will take about 10 to 15 minutes for each
session interview and there will be 5 session of interview.

Dear respondents, we are the students of Technical Writing Section 31 from Universiti
Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). We are conducting a research on UTHM Students
Problem Towards Buses for our group project.
Pertaining to the research, we are interested to observe the punctuality of the bus
schedule, to determine students satisfaction towards attitude of the driver(s) and to study
whether the students are comfortable with the bus condition. This study is crucial as it helps us to
find out the satisfaction of students towards UTHM bus services. So, all comments and
suggestions are welcomed. Please take a few minutes to answer the following questions. We
really appreciate the time, comment and your cooperation. Our questionnaire consists of 4
