Vedic Astrology : Aries & You : A self intro

Vedic Astrology is the light of life and it is based upon the movement of sign
rising at the horizon at the time of the birth of the native, and also most importantly, the
sign in which the Moon is located. The Western Astrology is based upon Sun sign and
the Vedic astrology is based on Moon sign which is more accurate in timing an event.

Check your horoscope if you are a Aries native, as follows: a) The centre top
(square) of your horoscope contains the number 1, and/or b) the slots (square or
triangle) containing Moon also contains the number 1, and/or c) if you do not have a
horoscope, then if your name starts with any of the following alphabets : ‘chu’, ‘che’
‘cho’ ‘la’, ‘lee’, ‘lu’, ‘lo’, ‘a’.

Ariens are most active, strong, aggressive, healthy and will be more successful in
the present century, moreso, when the sign lord Mars is placed strongly, in the native
chart. In general the natives are good executives and leaders despite their being
argumentative and offensive.

Aries ascendant native may bring them success in fields related to construction,
engineering and/or bringing in them a good and successful industrialist. Generally, they
are not good business people. Alternatively, they may excel in the field represented by a
planet located at a most effective point. They earn good wealth.

Mars the ascendant (& 8th) lord when in association with a positive planet will
enhance or strengthen the above effects, like comforts, paraphernalia and ability to
realize high aspirations. Venus, though markesh, owning seventh (& 2nd) house as its
mooltrikona sign blesses the native with a loveable and adventurous wife, only if Venus
is well placed and well aspected. Similarly, Jupiter owning the ninth (& 12th) house as its
mooltrikona sign, endows them of generosity and honesty, with love for religion. Once
again, Saturn owns eleventh (& 12th) as its mooltrikona sign and it ensures fulfillment of
desires, however, discontent and bad health may be experienced.

Aries rules head and brain, and they enjoy good health, if Mars and Mercury are
strong. Otherwise, they may suffer from wounds, headache and mental tension. Mars,
the lagna lord when weak may adversely affect health. Similarly a weak Sun will give
weak digestion, including anaemic condition as well as trouble to male progeny. A weak
Mercury will again give bad health with reckless and impulsive behaviour. A weak moon
will cause setback in education, life comforts, mental peace and mother. A weak Venus
will tend to cause problem in marital happiness. A weak Saturn will give setback in
income, apart from disease of bones and nervous system.

Conversely speaking, exalted planet will give plentiful and relatively happy life
with boons and goodies.

Arians may become good administrators, sportsmen, civil engineers, project

executors, surgeons and pursuits involving fire and metals, dentists, advocates, C-in-C
or high position in military or paramilitary forces or police, depending upon Mar’s location
or company or aspect. Arians execute their functions by force or command and not by
persuasion.

Arians can safely wear Yellow Sapphire or Red Coral or Ruby as adjudged by an
able astrologer with detailed reading. The three gems can be studded in a locket and
worn in the neck, under advice. If a benefic planet turns weak it must be strengthened
by wearing gems or correctly prescribed rudraksha and also reciting planetary mantras.
If a planet is adverse, it must be propitiated, and the relevant deity mantra or jap may be
useful to alleviate sufferings.
