Political Science and its relevance to


other Social Sciences.
Political Science is a concept as in systematic study of the government. It is also
the ability to persuade people to obtain political power and make out for the
develpoing thrust and directions of the national government.
Thus Political Science collides over a huge academic area ; these include
social science like history, economics, sociology etc.
1.. History
History relates to the past events as in direct saying of the rise and fall of
an empire, kingdoms, achievement of rules, uprise of civilizations, conquests etc.
It has been put in a couplet by Sir John Seeley "History without Political
Science has no fruit, Political Science without history has no root". It
maybe added that even present politics can become instant history. The
knowlege of history enables to form conclusions of politics
Dependence on history :1) Study of the state - History is a record of past. It provides raw material to
Political Science. Political Science deals with the study of state not only what it is
but also what it has been. The study of the state as it has been can only be
understood by turning pages of history.
2) Envisage Relations - History allows us to fully comprehend political science in
its fundamental relations. For example apprehending movements like
individualism, socialism,imperalism etc and also to know as in who was denied
wealth and other inheritance.
3) Interdependence - Not only political but history always is depended on political
science as in they are interdependent those historical movments and all politics,
stabbins, game of thrones etc all came over to spotlight because of this subject.
Political Science lead to fame and spotting of them movements.
Divaricate from History :Inspite of their close relation they differ from each other.
1) Statement Study - History is descriptive while political science is normative.
History gradually deals over longer studies as in every aspect of a ruler or
empire etc. But Political Science deals with the history based on the study of
state - administration, assembly leglisation etc.
2) Accordance - History deals with the events and circumstances as it were,
without any adulteration in it. But Political Science utilizes the event for the
welfare of the people.
3)Log - History records all the events that take place in the society, but politics is
concerned only with the social phenomena

4)Futurology - History studies only past and present events there is no dealings
over futurism but Political Science is concerned with future plans too.
5) Judgementive - History provides that fact as it without alteration but Political
Science may provide moral and valuable judgements.
