Warrnambool Inter-Faith Conversations: Understanding and contact with people
of different faith groups. Conversation on Forgiveness in different faith traditions.
This Wednesday, 7.00pm at Deakin University (Rm F 102) Supper provided.
Assistance Needed: We are looking for generous volunteers to bring Communion on
Sundays to parishioners who are unable to come to Mass regularly. This is a much
appreciated ministry and it helps those who are homebound to keep in contact with our
parish. Also, if you know of someone who would appreciate communion please let us

Organ Spectacular
Today at 2.30pm (St Josephs) featuring Craig Doherty,
former organist at St Davids Cathedral, Hobart. All proceeds
to St Josephs Junior Organ Scholarship. $10 & students free.

Up-dating the Census: For the past two weeks parishioners have filled in parish
census cards to enable us to update our records. If you have not filled out a census
card and wish to do so, you will find them in the Gathering Space.
Thanksgiving Program: Towards the end of July our Parish, along with our
neighbouring parishes of St Pius (West Warrnambool), St Patricks (Port Fairy) and
the Infant Jesus Church (Koroit) will be working with the help of Melbournes
Archdiocese Development Office at renewing our Thanksgiving Program. Further
information will follow in the coming weeks.
Fr Barry Stickland RIP: Fr Barry died on Thursday at St John of God Hospital
Ballarat. Requiem Mass: Wednesday at St Patricks Cathedral (Ballarat) at 2.00pm.
National eConference: 'Religion Catalyst for Violence or Peace' . Tapping into
interfaith issues surrounding the three Abrahamic traditions: Christianity, Judaism &
Islam The aim is to explore the potential for these traditions to cultivate peace in a
world that associates religion with violence. Tuesday, June 23rd St Joseph's Parish
