The multifunctional bonded anchor

there ever was. fischer FHB II
The FHB II anchor stud. Economical and performance optimized.

FHB II-A S
Short version for standard applications with reduced
anchorage depth for the lowest installation outlay.
Recognizable from its two cones.

Oblique edge
for use with resin
capsule.

Cone geometry
is especially adapted for applications in cracked
concrete and thus create uniform load introduction
with the lowest axial spacings and edge distances.

FHB II-A L
The most performance optimised with greater anchorage
depth for highest loads. Recognizable from its three
or four cones.

The FHB II-A S

the new shape of cost-effectiveness.
The FHB II-A S has a shorter overall anchorage depth. That makes it
an economical standard solution that you can use to save costs in
anchors, mortar and drilling.

The FHB II-A L

the new performance class.
The FHB II-A L is the strongest bonded anchor for heavy loads
suitable for cracked concrete in the world. In all dimensions, it
achieves higher tensile forces than any that were previously there:
Generally in comparison to the predecessor product, the next
smaller thread size can be used.

Thread diameter
corresponds to hole diameter
for worker-friendly pushthrough installation.

External hexagon
for installation with resin capsule.

Injection mortar or resin capsule ? The choice is yours.

The FHB II offers you the optimal heavy load fastening with a system.
Depending on the application or what you are used to, you can decide
on the injection mortar or the resin capsule with the same load.

One system as flexible as you are !

The resin capsule

If you only have to set a few FHB II anchors or require fast
hardening time, use of the resin capsule is the most economical solution. In this case, you will also benefit from shorter
hardening times. We especially recommend the resin capsule
for overhead installation and even for underwater applications.

The injection mortar

The system with injection mortar
is recommended if you want to set
a lot of FHB II anchors. The injection
mortar is suitable for all anchor studs.

The advantages at a glance

FHB II-A S

FHB II-A S and FHB II-A L

Especially economical due to reduced anchorage depth

Optimised for standard applications
Smallest axial spacings and edge distances
For the thinnest concrete components

FHB II-A L
Highest loads
Reduced axial spacings and edge distances
Reduced component thicknesses

For push-through and pre-positioned installation

With injection mortar or resin capsule
Extensive range for many fixing thicknesses
Available in the steel types galvanized, stainless steel A4 and
highly corrosion-resistant steel C (Material 1.4529)

Can be loaded super fast.

Product description.
In addition to the existing FHB II-P resin capsule, the FHB II-PF
capsule quick version rounds out the system. The resin capsule
hardens extremely quickly and can be loaded up to 100 % after
a few minutes.
The resin capsule consists of a glass capsule that is filled with highstrength vinyl ester resin. The new FHB II-PF capsule has a European
technical approval, option 1, for cracked concrete with the same
high load level as the standard resin capsule FHB-II-P.

Examples.

The advantages at a glance

The extremely fast hardening time makes fast work progress
possible without waiting times, e.g. installation of railings.
Hardening time up to 90% faster than the usual chemical
anchoring.
Thanks to its easy use, the Highbond system FHB II with
the new FHB II-PF capsule is also interesting to customers
who have avoided chemical anchors before because of
their hardening times.
Even at winter temperatures, the FHB II-PF capsule allows
rapid work progress with the same load level.

Steel failure decisive.

For minimum axial spacing and minimum edge distance the above described loads have to be reduced (See fischer Technical Handbook or design software CC-COMPUFIX) !
All values apply for concrete C20/25 without edge or spacing influence.
Design loads: material safety factor aM is included. Material safety factor aM depends on the type of anchor.
Recommended loads: material safety factor aM and safety factor for load aL = 1.4 are included.
