And I have the answer. After you beat the Eighth Gym Leader, go to Meteor Falls.
Then use Waterfall to get to the far north. Then you go into the enterence and
when you're in that room, go down the stairs. After that, go to the left, then u
p, and up the stairs. You can battle the couple if you want, but then go as far
up as you can. Battle that trainer, then go down the small steps. Stay to the le
ft of the steps and do NOT go down the last one. Then go left and down the stair
case, down the next set of stairs, and surf up until you see a doorway. Then go
through the doorway and you'll be in the only room you can catch a Bagon.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------FireRed/Leaf Green Games: Hints on the Islands (1)
by: Dragons.Rock
For the fan looking for island 8 and 9, 8 is called navel rock and 9 is birth is
land.
Something else I've seen around the forums a lot quite recently: How to get the
Mystic and Aurora Tickets.
Now, for those of you who don't know, the Mystic Ticket and the Aurora Ticket ar
e two tickets which can be obtained, and then used to locate the two secret isla
nds in FRLG - Navel Rock and Birth Island. However, these tickets cannot be obta
ined normally in the game, rather like the Eon Ticket in RS.
The legit way of getting these tickets is complicated if you're an American, and
simply impossible if you're European. Well, Europeans can do the first bit, and
then are halted before the fun starts. Either way, this is how you're supposed
to do it:
1. Go to any PokeMart absolutely anywhere and press A on the pictured piece of p
aper. Say "Yes".
2. Enter the four words as being "Link Together With All" as pictured.
3. Go to any PokeMart absolutely anywhere and press A on the pictured piece of p
aper. Say "Yes".
4. From now on, when you start up the game, the option "Mystery Gift" will appea
r. Load up the game with the Wireless Adaptor in, and select this to be greeted
with two more options - "Wonder Gift" and "Wonder News". This is where the fun s
tarts - you need to go to a specified Nintendo event or place, such as the Pokem
on Center NY or the recent "Pokemon Rocks America" tour. Accessing Wonder Gift f
rom here may download a certain ticket onto your game - the recent "Pokemon Rock
s America" tour allowed downloading of the Aurora Ticket.
5. To use your ticket, go to any man standing gormlessly by a harbour and talk t
o him. He'll notice your special ticket, and nearly wet himself before letting y
ou board to a special island.
The Mystic Ticket will grant you access to Navel Rock. Here you can catch Ho-Oh
and Lugia - both Level 70. Click their images below for help in finding them.
The Aurora Ticket will grant you access to Birth Island. Here you can catch a Le
vel 30 Deoxys. Click the Deoxys image below for help in finding him/her/it/whate
ver.
So then, that's the legit way. The other way is to use a cheating device, but th
is is easier said than done. Nintendo hate the idea of people using cheating dev
ices, and install all sorts of weird methods into their games to make it as hard
as possible to do. There are codes out there - be it Gameshark, Action Replay,
Codebreaker, Xploder or whatever else people have invented, that can get you the
se tickets, or can simply take you to the islands without any tickets. However,
there are also a lot of codes out there that people can't get to work. It's beca
use of this hassle I'm not posting any codes on this page, nor will I or any of
the staff supply you with cheating device codes. You're more than welcome to ask
for some on the forums, but these codes are more hassle than they're worth, and
you may just want to consider waiting until a legit opportunity to get these ti
ckets springs up.

Last year in October and future times this year "Pokemon Rocks! America" had a p
romotion involving catching the legendary Pokemon Deoxys via the Aurora Ticket.
This ticket can only be obtained at one of these events, which also unlocks the
key to Eight Island and Nine Island. This is the only way so far where these isl
ands are accessable.

To get to Island 8 (Navel Rock) you need the MysticTicket. To get to Island 9 (B
irth Island) you need the AuroraTicket. These tickets were available on promotio
nal tours, though there may be more releases.

by: Tinkerbell
Well Pokemon fan, the two key objectives you must have to defeat the elite four
in FireRed are a) your party Pokemon are at high levels and b) you have the righ
t pokemon types for each battle.
For the elite four I recommend the following Pokemon types for the following tra
iners:
Loreli: Electric/Fire (Zapdos/Power Plant, Magneton/Power Plant, Charizard/Start
er Pokemon, Moltres/Mt. Ember)
Bruno: Fire/Psychic (Moltres/Mt. Ember, Mewtwo/Cerulean Cave, Jirachi/Pokemon Co
losseum Pre-sale Disc)
Agatha: Psychic (Mewtwo/Cerulean Cave, Metagross/Pokemon Colosseum)
Lance: Ice/Dragon (Articuno/Seafoam Islands, Dewgong/Icefall Cave, Dragonair/Fis
hing in Safari Zone)
Rival: Ice/Electric/Water (Articuno/Seafoam Islands, Zapdos/Power Plant, Suicune
/Pokemon Colosseum/Wild in FireRed)

Choice Of pokemon
First of all, you might want to think about the choice of pokemon you are going
to use. For instance, think of a pokemon with good resistance to the opposite tr
ainer. E.g.: try choosing a tough bug pokemon with some fighting moves. Heracros
s would be ideal which can be found in the north east direction, in the safari z
one. Teach it brick break to easily handle Sydney s dark pokemon team. Another goo
d pokemon would be Armaldo. Its rock hard moves can help you to beat many pokemo
n. Such as Altaria, Glalie, and Sydney. Use ancient power to easily handle them.
Raise them Properly!
Another key point is to raise them near to the elite four. So around level 50- 6
0 at the most. That should at least help you. Also, you can find many items to h
elp increase your pokemon s stats such as carbos, calcium, iron etc. And here is a
little hint: check rocks and empty patches of grass to find them! Believe me, t
here are plenty to find!
And they will increase your pokemon s stats without having to spend anything!
Moves to learn
Before we move onto the team, instead of teaching your team HM moves, teach them
to other pokemon! Teaching your team them will just waste space for good moves.
Think about moves that rely on just one stat. Like overheat, it mostly relies o
n special attack which is why it would be useful for Glacia s team. And brick brea
k, relies on attack, so think about pokemon the have low defences.
A suitable team
Here is a good team, that is stylish, tough and reliable:
Blaziken: item: charcoal
Overheat: relies on special attack, so use wisely.
Focus punch: will come handy when Mightyena uses sand attack.
Slash: a critical move that will be useful for disadvantages.
Blaze kick: a nice move that suits Blazicken for attack power.
Armaldo: item: hard stone
Ancient power: a powerful rock move and a chance of rasing stats.
Return: a good normal move for friendship and disadvantages.
Earthquake: a great sweeper that comes in handy when facing Steven.
Brick break: a tough move to help get rid of dark pokemon.
Castform: item: never melt ice/ mystic water
Rain dance: weather condition for weather ball.
When facing the elite four, arrange your pokemon that has the most resistance fi
rst, then you will be able to launch attacks that they are weak against. Such as
Armaldo, send him out first because dark pokemon are weakened against bug pokem
on. Then you can attack with brick break/ fury cutter.
Save the most powerful until you really need it, like when facing Steven, use mo
stly earthquake to sweep him and his pokemon away.
The first trainer of the elite four will be Sydney. He trains dark pokemon. Use
Armaldo/ her across on him. With a little help of Blazicken, you should be able
to get rid of him easily. The second trainer is Phoebe. She trains ghost pokemon
. Use Sharpedo and Castform here. The third trainer is Glacia. She trains ice po
kemon. The best choice of pokemon must be Blazicken, Armaldo and Castform. The l
ast trainer will be Drake. He trains dragon pokemon. The best pokemon to use mus
t be Armaldo, Castform, groundon/kygore, and salamence/ another dragon pokemon.
As for the champion, use blazicken on metagross, and groundon on aggron. Really,
just use every pokemon, because this is your last chance.
That s it! I hope this helps.

Firstly breeding pokemon, to make a pokemon hatch you first must breed the same
types of Pokemon. For example: Bayleef and Oddish may create another Oddish or C
hikorita. Also make sure you breed with the same Pokemon egg types. Pokemon with
no gender cannot breed and if you do not know the egg type of a Pokemon, just b
reed it with a ditto. Dittos can be found on Route 15. Keep your Pokemon egg in
your party and walk around with it for a faster hatch.

by eonmaster
To breed a Pokemon for a good moveset or whatever, you must know what "type" the
Pokemon that you want is such as Monster, Plant, and Water (1-3). If both (a ma
le and a female) are the same "type", they'll mate and hatch an egg. The female
Pokemon will produce an Egg containing the actual Pokemon (i.e. If Breloom was f
emale and she mated, then the Egg wil hatch to be a Shroomish. If Beldum was mat
ed with a Ditto, then a Beldum would hatch.) For a Bagon to learn Hydro Pump (it
's possible!), the male Pokemon breeding with the female Bagon, Shelgon, or Sala
mence must know Hydro Pump. The father passes on attacks to the egg and the moth
er produces the egg.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------How to Get Jirachi (WITHOUT having Colosseum) onto FireRed/LeafGreen (1)
by The Pikachu Fanatic
Okay, for this to work you do need to have a GameCube...
1. Buy Pokemon Channel from GAME or GameStation or wherever you can find it.
2. Complete Pokemon Channel (watch all the channels, see the Pichu Bros. in Part
y Panic on the Star Projector.) And Jirachi will visit your house (I have done t
his, so it's believeable.)
3. Go to the Main Title Screen and click on Options.
4. One of the Options should say Jirachi on them, click on this.
5. Connect your GameBoy with Pokmon Ruby/Sapphire cartridge in the slot with the
GameBoy connector thing (the wire thing that allows you to play two-player battl
e on Collosseum.) to your GameCube.
6. Jirachi will be transported to your game...
7. Check it's there.
8. Trade with FireRed/LeafGreen!
9. You've got Jirachi! Yay! (Jirachi is a a powerful steel-psychic Pokemon- use
him well!)
10. Enjoy!
