Job Description/ Key Result Areas


(Candidate will be assessed for any one of the
following Departments depending upon the
aptitude)

22 to 35 Distribution:
Operation & maintenance activities.
To ensure reduction of Gas losses.
To ensure implementation of schedule
replacement of industrial, commercial and
domestic meters.
To check and follow-up on Underground
Leakage Identification and Rectification
activities.
To prepare and follow-up on Gas Theft
complaint.
Transmission:
To prepare Daily Pressure Flow Data and Pack
calculation
To verify/check gas quantity supplied by gas
sources
To execute Joint Calibrations of measurement
gadgets installed at Sales Metering Stations
To review / analyze the Daily Activity & Flow
Proving Report
To arrange/monitor/conduct ROW patrolling of
the pipeline network
Compression:
To check/monitor the functioning of compressor
stations as per specifications of Gas Control.
To check and maintain Daily Lube Oil
Consumption of all operational units of the
station.
To ensure scheduled maintenance of the
operational units.
Installation and commissioning of rotary &
static equipment.
Corrosion:
To schedule Cathodic Protection surveys of
Transmission and Distribution networks.
To prepare Inspection Reports
To undertake Pipe to Soil (PSP) surveys for Test
Points.
Quality Assurance:
To coordinate inspection test schedules of
Project Sites and Distribution Regions.
Assist in conducting technical & surveillance
Audit of all technical departments.
To compile and maintain quality records in
accordance with the approved Quality
Plans/Project Specifications

Projects:
To monitor site/construction activities
Assist in Resource Management.
Material reconciliation.
To coordinate with other agencies/departments
for obtaining crossing and ROW permissions
and other construction activities.
CP&D:
To prepare feasibility reports for distribution
supply mains.
To coordinate with the team of surveyors for
conducting route studies.
To check the Auto CAD design drawings for
construction.
LNG/LPG:
Assist in preparation & monitoring of technical
details for LNG-LPG Projects.
To carry out calibration of metering gadgets
installed at LNG-LPG site.
To verify payment certificates related to gas
supplies.
HSE:
Assist in implementation of HSE Policy.
To carry out HSE House Keeping
Meeting/Inspection.
To ensure incorporation of latest tools and
techniques related to HSE.
To investigate major accidents and incidents.
To prepare technical specifications for fire
fighting and personal protection equipment.
Metering:
To arrange inspection, repair & flow proving of
industrial/Commercial/Domestic meters.
To prepare meter history cards and repair cards.
Data analysis, MIR Generation.
To ensure adequate supply of meter spare for
repairing /maintenance by raising request for
sanctions/indent/LPRs.
To ensure periodic maintenance of calibration of
Test Meters.
