2. Course Objectives
In this course students will be able to learn about the elements of measurement system and
different type of analog and digital instruments. The students will also be able to study the sensor
based instrumentation and its applications.

3. Course Outcomes
After studying this course, students will be able:
a) To classify instruments and elements of a measurement system
b) To analyze different types of Analog and Digital Instruments.
c) To use of AC and DC bridges in Electrical Circuits.
d) To use Resistive, Capacitive, Inductive, Thermal and Optoelectronic transducers.
e) To analyze different sections of data acquisition system.
f) To have hands on experience on different instruments for the measurement of Voltage,
Current, Resistance, Power, Energy, Power factor and use of Labview in laboratory.
