What did you plan to do this quimester?
I planned to increase my participation within some chosen activities, as
well as in volunteering activities and CAS elderly homes project. To
contribute my best in each activity chosen for this quimestre.
What did you do?
I had tried my best to be in each activity I chose and maintained a good
attitude towards my supervisors. However, some of the activities I chose
were difficult to keep going, like the Eco-art, considering arrangements
within my school work and home labor made it too hard to constantly
assist.
What do you think about the activities you completed this quimester?
The activities have benefitted me greatly, considering it helped me reach a
better health standard, and made me acknowledge the importance of
being part and participate with the community service projects.

What feelings arose during the activities completed this quimester?

I mostly felt pleased and joyful, considering that being part of a project,
were the main objective is to help other people in need and make them
smile. Is something that makes you feel better of yourself, making you
truly filled with happiness. However, there were some moments were it
would be frustrating to me organize my other work with the CAS activities,
making me more aware of the time commitment.
What were the outcomes of the activities you completed, for yourself?
I gained more experience in leadership skills, considering that one of the
leaders of the CAS project would be me, meaning that I would have to
organize and guide other students in their community service activities.
What were the outcomes of the activities you completed, for others?
I helped other people, like the elderly in the CAS project Elderly Homes.
This time I had to make a garden, to do so I had to organize a group of
people which would help me plow the land and also I had to use a part of
the money raised in buying flowers (bugambillas, geranios, etc). I also
spent time with the elderly, which then became my friends. Talking to the,
is something that makes them very happy.
Was there value for the school or the wider/ global community from any
activities? Explain.
Participating in different volunteering programs, like helping the elderly
and being a volunteered translator in a hospital are things considered with
much value for the school as well as local communities.
How will you proceed next quimester? Which activities will you continue
with? Why? Which will you not continue with? Why? Are there any areas
of growth you wish to focus on next quimester?
I will continue to actively train at the gym, and continue with the singing
lessons as well as the community service project. However, I will not be
able to continue with Eco art. I will also start with Italian lessons, which
will contribute to my creativity aspect.
