It'smoreorlessthesamething,justeasier!
WeneedtoopenourDAWandcreateamonotrack,thenloadtheTestToneonit.
NowwehavetoopentheVSTfromwhichwewanttotaketheimpulseresponseinthetrackinsert,forexampleGR.
Nowwehavetocloseorbypassallthecomponentswedon'tneed(stomps,amps...)andactivateonlythecab+micsection.
PlaytheToneTestnowtoseeifitclipsinsideourVST.Ifso,lowerthevolumeorusethe"learn"function!
Whatwehearwhenweclick"play"isjusttheToneTestprocessedbytheVST,andthisiswhatweneed,soexportthefileintoa.wavfile!
Forboth,then...
Obviously,ifyouhavecreateda96KHztesttone,youhavetorecordatthesamesamplerate!!!
Exporttherecordedtoneona24bitWaveMonofile.
IMPORTANT:whenyouexport,remembertoaddabitofsilenceattheendoftheclipyou'reabouttoexport!!!
