Testing & Commissioning Procedure


General Overview
The following procedure details the steps to be taken and the items of plant to be checked to
ensure that the unit is operating as specified in the associated Honeywell Optimal Solution
Functional Description.
Serious consideration is to be given to testing and checking the functionality of the software
program Off Site using the Honeywell Live CARE simulation tool for this purpose.
Ideally and where possible, the on site commissioning of the unit should be carried out from
the operators terminal of the Building Management System to the end or field device located
within the plant room or associated areas served by the unit.
Once the unit has been fully tested and commissioned a trend report can be set up to monitor
the zone temperature control system to ensure that the loop is correctly Tuned to provide
stable control within the zone or area served.

1. Lighting "Off" Mode Inspection / Individual Equipment Function Test


1.1 Lighting Off Mode
1) To disable the time program and exchange the lighting command point from auto
mode to manual mode.
2) It is recommended to off lighting.

2. Lighting "On" Mode Program Test


2.1 Lighting "Auto/Manual" Mode Operation
1) Auto/Manual mode is hardware point selection.
2) DDC program is enabled with lighting Auto mode selection.
2.2 Time Program Activiated
1) It is depended on the built-in time program to control the lighting.
2) It may be changed by operators in any times.

3. Reset All Points to Auto Mode


3.1 All Datapoints Reset to Auto Mode
After completion all the testing and commissioning, all the software and hardware points
must be return to auto mode from manual mode.
