1.

Click on Schedule List

2. Click on Company

a. A pop-up box will appear

b. Choose a company name. (ex. Postech)


3. Click the blue button on the right

a. Go back to the original page (before the pop-up)

4. Click the Excel button

a. Save the file (ex. Postech MR1)

5. Back to the original page, Click the 5th button on the Menu on the left side.

a. Upon clicking, the page will update.


b. This is the MR posted page.
6. Now click the Company button to choose a specific account. (see Step #2 image)
a. The previous pop-up will update.
b. Click a specific account (see Step #3 image)
c. The original page will update again.
7. Click the Excel button (see Step #4 image)
a. Save the file (ex. Postech MR2)
*Now we have 2 excel files:
a. List of Students (for a certain account) - file 1
b. List of Students with posted MRs - file 2
8. What we need to do next is to COMPARE both files
a. This can be done by putting the files side by side
b. If theres a missing MR posting, the tally for file 2 is less than file 1
b. There are times when SOME NEW STUDENTS are inserted in the account. Then the

tally for file 1 is bigger than file 2.


MANUAL CHECKING
1. Sort the 2 files in order using the student number (just to see the sequence)
*ARRANGE THE COLUMN REFERENCE IN ASCENDING ORDER*
2. click VIEW, ARRANGE ALL, TILE
3. compare

*Another way to do it is thru VLOOKUP - an excel function between 2 files.


*First, ARRANGE IN ASCENDING ORDER*
1. In the first excel file (MR1), click the column containing the students number (ID).
a. right-click, then choose INSERT
- a new column will appear.
2. in the first row of the new column (not the heading row), type the ff:

a. =vlookup(
b. then click the first student number to choose it.
=vlookup(D2,
[add a comma]
3. now go to the second excel file (MR2)
*First, ARRANGE IN ASCENDING ORDER*
a. click the student number in the first row
b. press CTRL+SHIFT+DOWN
-this will choose the whole column w/ entries
c. press F4

d. then type following in sequence

close parenthesis
*the final formula should look something like this:
=vlookup(D2,=VLOOKUP(D2,'ENC MR.xls'!C$2:C$913,1)
e. press ENTER
4. It will automatically bring you to MR1.
a. a new number will be automated in the first row of the blank column
b. move the arrow key upward to choose this new automated entry
c. move the mouse at the bottom right side of this cell until the CROSS cursor sign
appears.

d. then, click and drag, all the way to the last row.
5. the cells containing #N/A are the students with no MR postings.
**Addendum:
1. In the first MR file, the new column is highlighted.
2. click CONDITIONAL FORMATTING
- HIGHLIGHT CELL RULES
--DUPLICATE VALUES [choose a different color)
3. lastly, arrange the file accdg to teacher name, so you could easily check the missing entries
per teacher

***More Addendum:
1. SNNC students dont have IDs/#

Other notes:
1. The MR Posting page refreshes every month. When you choose an account with no MR
Posting in the past days, no results will show.
