1. INTRODUCTION
This document describes the manner in which to install and use the Local Loading Tool (LLT). This tool
allowstheusertodownloadapplicationsintheterminalswithTELIUMtechnology.
Inthecontinuationofthisdocument,thefollowingdesignations:

InorderforthesoftwaretorunthecomputerwherethesoftwareisinstalledmusthaveaCDROMdrive
andaserialorUSBport.
3. Softwareinstallation
You must have administrative privileges to install and to uninstall this program. This includes having
administrativeprivilegesthefirsttimeyoustartyourcomputerafterinstallingoruninstalling.
LLT use port IP 6000 for data exchange. The use of this port must not be forbidden by the network
administration(Firewall,VirtualPrivateNetwork(VPN))ormustnotbeusedbyanotherapplication.
BeforeinstallingtheLLTapplication,makesurethatallapplicationsareclosed.
Then,inserttheCDROMcontainingtheLLTsoftwareandfollowinstructionsoftheLLTsetup.
If your PC doesn't run the setup automatically, click "Start" button from the task bar, choose "Run ...",
then "Browse ..." CD drive and select "LLT_setup.exe". Launch setup after clicking on the "Open" and
"OK"Button.
Onceyouhavecompletedthesetupprocedure,youcanlaunchthetoolbydoubleclickingontheLLTicon
orfromStartbutton,
choosePrograms>TELIUMTools>LLT>LLT.

5. UseofLLTfunctions
LLT allows downloading software components or parameter files in the terminal during a downloading
activity.Italsomayallowuploadingdiagnosticfileduringadiagnosticormaintenanceactivity.

Connecttotheterminal(seeConnectingtotheterminal)
MoveintheLLTexplorerinordertoselectthecatalogfilescorrespondingtothecomponentsto
bedownloaded(seeFileselection).
Downloadthecomponent(s)intheSWAPdirectoryoftheterminal(seeFiletransfer).
Disconnect(seeDisconnectingtotheterminal).Thevalidcomponentsaretransferredinthe
SYSTEMdirectoryinordertobeused
