Dear

Friend,
In a few days w e will be sending out our next newsletter. In the mean time we would like to make you aware of an
opportunity. There is no help for children who cannot afford to buy school uniforms or school supplies and they cannot
attend w ith out then, therefore w e are holding a School Supply Drive for the kids in our remote Kids Bible Clubs. We hold 6
kids clubs each w eek w ith between 30-90 kids at each location. In most of these areas there are no stores of any kind and in
most cases there is no money changing hands in the community, meaning most families trade chickens, pigs, beef, veggies
or services for items they need within their communities. We have about 300 children in total. If you would like to assist in
providing any funds towards the purchase of any of these items, we would be greatly appreciative. We are hoping to
present string back-packs filled w ith the items listed below by the middle of August. Please respond via phone call or email
if you would like to help.

Ecuador School Supplies - I cannot say that the Ecuadorian product quality for these items are very good, especially the
crayons, however there are some that are 6-10 times more expensive than the US, but the prices listed below are the
lowest/cheapest products for buying here in Ecuador. Need 300-325 o f each. We have already bought and paid for 400
string backpacks. We have given most of the kids New Testaments already in which they bring to the club each week,
faithfully, but we w ould like to present them with a complete bible. Please contact us via email or phone call if you would
like to sponsor a child, an item, a club o r just donate towards the total. All funds can be sent via a check to our PO Box
(listed below) with a note in the memo section for school supplies or a specific sponsorship or via PayPal from our
website www.pateministries.org (mark the specific designation of school supplies or sponsorship).
