What You Need

Makes: 12 servings

Make It

1 pkg. (16.5 oz.) refrigerated sliceable sugar HEAT oven to 375F.

pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor
Instant Pudding
vanilla wafers
bananas, sliced
tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

Make It
BEAT pudding mixes and milk with whisk 2 min. Let
stand 5 min.
ARRANGE half the wafers on bottom and up side of 2-qt.
serving bowl; top with layers of half each of the banana slices
and pudding. Repeat all layers. Cover with COOL WHIP.
REFRIGERATE 3 hours.

What You Need


2 cups boiling water
1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Lemon Flavor Gelatin
1/4 cup KOOL-AID Lemonade Flavor

Sugar-Sweetened Drink Mix
4 fresh strawberries, sliced
2 small kiwi, peeled, sliced
1/2 cup blueberries

What You Need


1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix
1 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
1 cup quartered fresh strawberries
1/2 cup each fresh blueberries, blackberries and raspberries
1 Tbsp. KOOL-AID Strawberry Flavor Sugar-Sweetened Drink Mix
2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Make It
ADD boiling water to gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 2 min. until
completely dissolved. Stir in soft drink mix.
PLACE fruit in 12 (3-oz.) ice pop molds; pour gelatin mixture over
fruit in molds. Insert wooden pop sticks into molds.
FREEZE 3 hours or until firm.

Make It
PREPARE cake batter and bake in 13x9-inch pan as directed on package. Cool cake in pan
15 min. Pierce cake with large fork or skewer at 1/2-inch intervals.
ADD boiling water to gelatin mix in small bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir
in cold water; slowly pour over cake. Refrigerate 3 hours. Meanwhile, toss berries with drink
mix. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
FROST cake with COOL WHIP; top with berries.

3 qt. (12 cups) popped popcorn
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/3 cup butter
1 env. (0.13 oz. to 0.23 oz.) KOOL-AID

Unsweetened Drink Mix, any flavor
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Prep Time: 25 min. Total Time: 44 min.

Make It
HEAT oven to 225F.
SPREAD popcorn evenly onto bottom of 15x10x1-inch pan.
BRING sugar, corn syrup and butter to boil in medium saucepan on medium-high
heat; cook 3 min., stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Add drink mix and baking
soda; mix well. Pour over popcorn; stir gently to evenly coat popcorn.
BAKE 10 min. Remove from oven; stir. Repeat 3 times for a total baking time of 40 min.
SPREAD onto large sheet of waxed paper sprayed with
cooking spray; cool completely. Break into pieces.

cup butter or margarine, softened

Unsweetened Drink Mix, any 2 flavors

Make It
HEAT oven to 325F.
MIX flour, baking powder and salt. Beat butter and sugar in large
bowl with mixer until blended. Add eggs; mix well.
Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition.
DIVIDE dough in half; mix different flavor dry drink mix into each
portion of dough.
DROP rounded tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking
sheets.
BAKE 13 to 14 min. or until centers are slightly puffed. Cool on baking
sheet 1 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

MIX pretzel crumbs, 2 Tbsp. sugar and butter; press onto bottoms of 10 (4-oz.) jelly jars, adding about 3 Tbsp. to each.
BEAT cream cheese, milk and remaining sugar in medium bowl
with mixer until blended. Stir in COOL WHIP; spoon over crusts.
Spread with back of spoon to form even layer. Refrigerate until
ready to use.
ADD boiling water to gelatin mix in medium bowl; stir 2 min.
until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1-1/2
hours or until thickened.
STIR berries into gelatin; spoon over cream cheese layers in jars.
Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.

Know How
Choose a watermelon that has
a smooth, waxy surface and a
creamy-colored underside. If the
underside is white or greenish, the
watermelon is not ripe. Hearing a
thud when you tap the watermelon slightly with the palm of your
hand is another sign of ripeness.
If you hear a ringing sound, the
melon is not ripe.

lbs. small red potatoes (about 12), cut 1-inch cubes


cup water
cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
cup KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing
slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled
cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
green onions, thinly sliced

Make It
PLACE potatoes in 2-qt. microwaveable dish. Add water; cover with lid. Microwave on HIGH 12 to 15 min. or just until potatoes are tender; drain. Place
in large bowl.
REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until completely cooled.
MIX dressings until blended. Add to potatoes with remaining ingredients;
mix lightly.

Potato Facts
When cooking potatoes for a potato salad, remember that the potatoes will
continue to cook even after you have drained them. As soon as the cooked
potatoes are fork tender, drain them, then run them under cold water to
quickly cool them. When in doubt, it is better to undercook the potatoes
rather than overcooking them.

What You Need


2 pkg. (14 oz. each) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni &
Cheese Dinner
1 cup MIRACLE WHIP dressing
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
4 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
8 green onions, sliced

Make It
PREPARE Dinners as directed on package.
ADD remaining ingredients; mix lightly.

MIX meat and onions just until blended; shape into 8

GRILL 3 min. on each side or until done (160F), topping

How to Shred Lettuce


or Cabbage
Cut head of cored iceberg lettuce
or cabbage in half. Place each half,
cut-side down, on cutting board. Cut
across the halves into thin slices, then
separate slices into shreds.

Storing Cabbage
Store whole cabbage in the
refrigerator in a perforated plastic
bag, or loosely wrapped in a plastic
bag for up to 2 weeks. Tightly wrap
cut cabbage in plastic wrap,
refrigerate and use within a few days.
Wash cabbage just before using.

Make It
HEAT grill to medium heat.
SHAPE meat into 6 (1/2-inch-thick) patties. Grill 4 to 5 min. on each side or
until done (160F).
MEANWHILE, microwave VELVEETA and RO*TEL in microwaveable bowl
on HIGH 5 min. or until VELVEETA is completely melted, stirring after 3 min.
PLACE burgers on bottom halves of buns; top each with 2 Tbsp. VELVEETA

Buffalo Chicken Ranch


Grilled Pizza
Prep Time: 20 min.

Serves: 6 servings

Breast Strips, chopped
Tbsp. hot sauce
lb. frozen pizza dough, thawed
cup KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing
cups KRAFT Pizza Shredded Four Cheese
cup blue cheese crumbles

Make It

HEAT grill to medium heat.


TOSS chicken with hot sauce.
PAT pizza dough into 16x12-inch rectangle on lightly floured surface.
GRILL dough 2 to 3 min. Turn dough over; spread with dressing. Top with
chicken, shredded cheese and blue cheese. Grill 5 min. or until cheeses are
melted and edge of crust is golden brown.

Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeo Popper Wieners


Prep Time: 20 min.

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar & Monterey
Jack Cheeses
cup finely chopped pickled jalapeos
ripe avocado, mashed
bottle (8 oz.) KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing, divided
Tbsp. KRAFT Original Barbeque Sauce
hot dog buns

Make It
PREHEAT grill to medium heat.
WRAP 1 bacon slice around each wiener; secure ends of bacon to
wieners with wooden toothpicks.
GRILL 6 to 8 min. or until bacon is crisp and wieners are heated
through, turning frequently. Remove toothpicks.
MIX cream cheese, shredded cheese and jalapeos in a small bowl
until blended. Mix avocado and 1/2 cup dressing in separate bowl until
blended. Mix barbeque sauce and remaining dressing in third small
bowl until blended.
