Indias Essel teams up with 3 German cos for smart cities plan
Indian business conglomerate Essel Group has inked technology transfer
pacts with three German firms for its solar, wind and waste-water management projects at home. The Indian company and FeCon GmbH, part of
Germanys Wind and Sun Technology GmbH, have signed a memorandum
of understanding (MoU) for the transfer of critical wind and solar technology. The agreement calls for FeCon to help Essel develop and locally

did not disclose any further details. All contracts were signed during the
Hannover Messe 2015 trade fair in Germany. Essel, which focuses on
building integrated and sustainable smart cities, aims to hit 12,500 MW
